You have to consider the era that was filmed. In those days audiences were instructed to sit quietly so as not to distract the television audience. They reserved their enthusiasm for the clapping. It was just how things were done in the 1950s and early 1960s. It wasn't until shows like "American Bandstand" and "Soul Train" came out that body movements were allowed on the screen.

I love Andrae Crouch, his ministry has been the model for others since the early 70's. Others have been credited with being the first on the scene. But this man of God was able to accomplished what they couldn't and with great success. Taking Gospel music from, for the religious only, straight to the doorsteps of the secular. Andrae carried out the great commission, breaking through the glass ceiling that frustrated his predecessors. He went forward with great confidence, giving birth to new music and artists along the way. There were many people in the church who didn't approve of his brand of ministry during that time.But it was very clear that God was moving in a fresh direction, and that he was with him. All of the great Gospel music that we enjoy today, has that radical spirit reaching the higher heights and deeper depths, still seeking the lost whatever the cost. God bless Andrae Crouch for not giving up or giving in, staying true to his call.

His song if heaven wasn't promised to me rings in my heart right now. A life in review, It's been worth it just having the Lord in my life, living in a world of darkness, he brought me the light. RIP my Brother, until we meet again some day, I'll be thinking of you...

Bowing connotes "Worship" look in the of book of Revelation 5th chapter it speaks of Jesus being Worshipped. The whole chapter but specifically verses 8-19, verses 12-14! (vs.12) "Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power.(13)"and every creature which is in heaven and on earth.. (14) "and the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders "fell down" and "Worshipped" Him that liveth for ever and ever. This is "the Worship" of "The Lamb..King Jesus!"

I don't debate as I see it fruitless because I don't have to convince myself. What I have is very real and precious to me however if it turns out to be nothing I still will have lost nothing. I can't prove God to anyone but then I don't have to. God is real to those who earnestly seek Him. What do you think? First of all with God, there are no "degrees" of sin, in His eyes the heinous murder is no different from one that lies. If you just open your mind to what I say; God never created hell for man it was for satan and all his demons. But because of His love for man he provided the way through His son Jesus that we might enter into an everlasting life of joy and peace with Him. Yes we do repent and God never keeps a record of our wrongdoings after He forgives us.

I wonder if you, are intimating that there is a question as to the veracity of Jesus being worshipped, or are you specificaly wanting references where JESUS states "Worship me." There are numerous passsages where individuals in the New Testament "Worshipped" Jesus and He never condemned them, or stopped them. MT 2:11, 8:2, 9:18,28:9 Mark 15:19. The New Testament supportes this even in the Epistle of Philliians ch.2:10 "every knee shall "bow..." at the name of Jesus.. Bow connotes worship
