As a nonamerican can i ask rather he is still a soldier I get they play football while serving in the army But when he now are joining the Vikings If he makes the team rather its the 53 or PS Does that mean he is done serving as a soldier or will he have to step away from football if he gets called to war?

I am a little suprised he went the nfl route. He could have entered the army as a West Point alumn and all American football player. Instead he went the udfa route to bounce around for a couple years.

@@originalmindset5278 well, I assume he has no money. Now he has a nice little bag, probably 50k, for a high end udfa. He can earn 100k a year on the practice squad for a year or two. I think a game check is about 40 k in the nfl, if can get called up as players ahead of him get injured, he could get on the roster for a few games. Having said all this, udfa players don’t tend to stick. The get bounced around til they get tired of it, or teams stop calling. NFL = not for long.

@Bong Water Alchemist I still like his potential to take a flyer on him. Even if he is on the practice squad for a couple years. He is the type of player you want as an undrafted free agent. I am glad we didn’t waste a pick on him. Regardless the odds are against most of these young men. Only time will tell in the Not For Long league.

Idk how true it is, but I’ve seen that he had to be a certain weight for the army in college, but that he can get an exception for his job, so he’ll be able to beef up even further (not sure if that’s true, but regardless the first part remains true). And you didn’t mention the confusion surrounding his required service? That’s an odd thing to leave out don’t you think?

He went undrafted because he got completely schooled at the Senior Bowl and then went to the combine and put up absolutely *terrible* numbers. He had really poor upper body strength and his legs were even worse. He's a developmental project who needs a good 2 years in an NFL strength training and nutrition program. If he can add more weight, strength, and develop some more moves without losing quickness the Vikings may really have something down the road. His frame is something D coaches drool over.

Me personally as an Eagles fan I want Robinson. I believe we will be set at offense. Trade back the second first round for another second and third. Grab Isiah Folskey from Notre Dame and Andre Carter from Army. Then find a way to get Budda Baker. I believe all these guys have a better work ethic than Jalen Carter who they say have been coming to workouts out of shape. Hate to get him and he loses his hunger and doesn't put in work.
