Andre Drummond is key to rebuilding the Pistons to a .500 team only if they can get him perimeter defenders and an aggressive long range shooter....potential all star in two seasons and maybe even an all NBA teamer Being a fan and appreciator of the impact of the big men this season would you do a Timo Mozgov ,Kelly Olynk,Mason Plumlee and maybe Brandon Bass vids....ps sorry to seem kinda nagging but i love your work and would like more of it

well said but we all know that the NBA right now is about the deep threes and if you don't have a consistent perimeter threat both on offense and defense,i reference this from all the teams that made it to the east playoffs each had such -wiz(paul pierce),cle(kyrie and jr),chi(butler),atl(korver),thus if drummond gets an atleast decent supporting cast in the wings the pistons are making it to the playoffs next year,all the bigs you mentioned likes of joel,boogie all have one problem their jumper is nowhere near AD's and thats why they arent seeing post season time

After they cut josh smith, they finished 27-27.
@MetalMaster1019 жыл бұрын
bringinMOruckus And that would have been better if Jennings didn't get hurt. Even after that, they did well with Jackson once he settled in after that 10 game losing streak. They were definitely a better team than what the record shows. But it was probably for the best at least for one more season to be in the lottery. Now they can add one last rookie to the mix that hopefully will be a big part of the future. They should be a beast in the East next year.

edrianne since your comment, detroit drafted an amazing defender in Stanley Johnson and added a couple of stretch 4s in ersan ilyosova and marcus morris. they're trying to rebuild the magic from back in the day if that's what you were hinting to

I know Andre Drummond isn't leaving the Pistons, he'll get a max deal. He's going to put up numbers better that Dwight and will take the Motor City back to the promise land. Stan Van gundy is "el jefe" in that organization when it comes down to it because he knows how to win. Nothing on Dwight but I'll take Drummond everyday based on that natural feel he has for the game. I would rather have Stan as my president and coach instead of others. As I compare the two best centers in the league come next year, I can't help but hope (as a Piston fan) he gets the max deal.

He reminds me of young Dwight Howard.

Drummond will be the most dominant big man in the league if he can learn to knock down a 10 footer off the glass and get that free throw % close to 70%. He has already been quoted saying that he will be working on his face up game over this summer. The FT's will get better if his mechanics at the line get better. As of right now they are horrible. Elbow tucked in and hand at the center of the ball for those FT's Drummond and you'll be alright.

Then he will never go to the playoffs. The lakers suck the clippers cock
@Mykford19 жыл бұрын
Yes sir, he would be the missing link. I wouldn't mind Hibbert coming off the bench or playing them together when size is needed.

he reminds me an athletic Wes. and before any Bullet fans get all angry, I mean that Wes was really big (not height necessarily), but he will never go down as one of the most athletic centers of all time. This guy Drummond reminds me of Mr. Wes in terms of body type. I HATE the Pistons, but it is a shame things did not work out for him and Monroe (Josh Smith wasn't the right kind of fit), and I think it is because simply the way the game is played today. too many ifs to go into detail. No idea why people think that the Clippers will have any more success getting Smith to fit into their system though.

Biggest mistake Raptors ever made was passing on Drummond in the 2012 draft for Terrance Ross. I can't believe we passed up on this guy for a what now is a bench player....

Valanciunas and Drummond would be a nice frontcourt. Never know if the future it might happen. Ujiri makes things happen

he needs a jump shot. he will be like dwight if does not have.
@drewpeackoc3869 жыл бұрын
Dwight is one of the best centers in the league and he was one of the best players in the league during his magic days. Dwight is just a little bit better at defense.
@kkkdec92059 жыл бұрын
Bro he doesnt need a jump shot come on dude hes a center is job is to post up and rebound the ball and block shots he good at everything else just needs to get to a 72% free throw shooter thats all i ask
@rossselection10329 жыл бұрын
Olahcomestasimiahjuanmartines I disagree, he did that in a weak competition in his position bynum is skillful yet he has no GOAT dna. yao is not in the level of kareem... Shaq was declining when dwight rose. He is gifted at defense because of his vertical leap in blocking shot and getting boards, dunking of pick and roll and his post is game present nothing else but using the inside pivot move he none beyond that, rodman will bully dwight on defense easily, bill will choke him, kareem, shaq and hakeem will easily intimidate him if they play each other. We need a center who is better than hakeem in footwork, more powerful and skilled than shaq to make big man exciting to watch, KAT may bring that.
@rossselection10329 жыл бұрын
Kkk Dec He need to demand more of the ball with monroe gone 20ppg, 14 ppg, 4bpg will do. At least Drummond has the work ethic to be better and I see he can be like kevin mchale who has a turnaround jumper, to add to his deadly up and under fakes inside. He should learn to be disciplined in fouls and not to be like dwight who ego swallowed him. Marc Gasol, Ewing and Cousins had jumpshots, not bad to have a jumper as a C.
@kkkdec92059 жыл бұрын
Ricky Ricafort yea but i agree thats it he needs a post game and please get better at free throw i mean trust me hes a beast on blocking shots and a monster on rebounding i just want him to a 72% free throw shooter if he can that he can be just as better then dj at offense

+Kkk Dec never post up? did you see what he did against Portland? yes his Free throws are atrocious but this kid can play with his back to the basket!

That Celtics annoucer is so pathetic. Autistic even. Drummond throws down an alley-oop off the glass and it's just a "nice play". Completely ruined it.
