13 seasons, 6 chips, 10 scoring titles, 6 mvps. So half the time he was 'competing' in the league he was winning it all, total domination.

I despised the guy. And not just because my favorite player all-time is Magic and MJ played in the other conference but because he played with too much swagger for my taste. But without hesitation I proclaim him to be the GOAT.
@gravityfuzzАй бұрын
He had only one weakness. He was not thinking about future players and the goat conversation. If so he would have preserved his body like Lebron and realized 3's were the more efficient like Steph. MJ was like the most delicious and potent shot you've ever drunk and tripped afterwards. . .
@caesarleo3702Ай бұрын
@@gravityfuzzHad nothing to with preserving his body. MJ played in a more physical league and father time grounded him.
@gravityfuzzАй бұрын
@@caesarleo3702 I watched his entire career. MJ gave the fans 100% in a brutal league and that certainly took a toll but if the most competitive person ever would have known about this nonsense goat conversation today he would have done something about it. What would that be? He would have smoked fewer cigars, drank less booze, played less golf, slept more, maybe some time management like today, and worked on his step back threes. He helped father time a bit but MJ played every game like it was his last. I miss that mentality. And I miss him on the court flying. . .

@katrinachavez3533Ай бұрын
Only the infinite ignorant aka King Con fans would spew such idiocy. Jordan averaged 11.4 assists in 1991 Finals. I'm sure the greatest point-guard all-time (Magic) was impressed. MJ also averaged 31.2 points on 56% shooting, 6.6 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 1.4 blocks. That's why Magic has said "There's Jordan then there's everybody else."

The statement that gets me every time is this: Lebron is bigger, stronger and faster than MJ. Bigger? Sure, a tape measure and scales will settle that one. No argument here. Stronger? You mean 'gym strong' or 'basketball strong'? Watch both of them and see which of the two plays 'stiff' and gets pushed around (or flops). Faster? There is no way that Lebron was faster than Jordan in both their primes. Again, there could be a difference between 40 yard dash speed and basketball speed. Jordan had a crazy vertical, but that wasn't the real reason he dunked on everyone. He was around people and up in the air before other people even took off most of the time. I still think Kareem had the best basketball career overall when you factor in college. But I see no situation where I would take a prime Lebron over a prime Jordan. In fact, I would take a prime Kobe, Magic, Bird, Hakeem, Shaq over him too. And that is NOT an insult. He's been a fantastic player who has played a very long time.
