OMG!!!!!!! I totally forgot about this song til I just happened to scroll past it on this like 10 hour vinge I've been on of pure nostalgia. Such a fun and amazing time of my life and the world of rap. (2020) Much love to YAY area from KCMO. Forget the funk, there will always be a natural respect and ingrained connection between our regions. So much amazing and completely unique music came from all those collaborations. Truly a tragedy it all kinda ended, especially in the way that it did.

*”You see the big girls do it so of course it’s fine.” That line is iconic. It’s amazing how so many impressionable young women just follow the lead of slightly older women in their surroundings. They justify sniffing coke or poppin ecstasy because they see someone slightly more advanced than them do it. This is a very common logic that makes zero sense. People are product of their environments. They want to assimilate and adapt. Most people don’t want to be an outcast. This is exactly why young women see the big girls doing it and think…of course it’s fine.*
