Haven't been this blown away since I first saw Whzgud. I remember being mesmerized like this but it was over a decade and a half ago and I was on a lot of drug's. I hope your not mixed up in that stuff but I'm uncertain how one would attain this without it. At any rate thank you for bringing me back to one of the few thing's I don't hate about those day's.
@MasterYoda3893 жыл бұрын
the hell you talking bout', this is really hard to do. This has nothing to do with drugs lol. Try it out yourself, learning this stuff takes YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAARSSSSSSS. I've been practicing for 2 years every day and I'm only recently starting to glide properly. If anything, this is COMMITMENT. Unlike other skills I've sacrificed my time to, animation dancing has always been fun.

@@MasterYoda389 This was before youtube was a thing, where the only place I knew of to see something like this was a rave or an underground club. I'm fully willing to believe that some of the best dancers there were completely sober. But I also know they went there to be around people who could also dance to battle them and MANY of them were on drug's. I wrecked my life with that drug usage and it has been a cathartic confrontation to watch people who can dance like this. In my own little world it seemed that everyone who could dance to electronica was on drug's, hence my statement. I'm not saying he's on drug's, just saying that I know drug's amplify dancing and the viewing of it. The most amazing dancing I had seen until recent years was 20 years ago at an underground club, literally under ground and I was pretty messed up. But this guy caught my attention and spent what felt like 10-15 minutes dancing in front of me and I was mesmerized with my jaw on the floor. I finally snapped out of it when he created a vibrating ball, played with it and swallowed it then vibrated several feet across the floor because it was way to mind bending.
@Psittac203 жыл бұрын
@@MasterYoda389 and if you're learning how to do this without the use of drug's (marijuana is not a drug imo) then more power to you. I have a bad habit of trying to steer people away from thing's that have wrecked me in the past. It's kind of a fear thing mixed with how I recovered, sending good will to people. In the past I used to reach out to people dealing with things that I used to deal with and giving them hopeful words. I'm more than certain I was drunk and afraid of my past when I made that comment but it was a moment that I could remember that one night, only being able to watch this guy dance far better and sober, was a healing thing for me. Sorry if my comment came off wrong but watching this video was part of me coming to an amends with my past.
@MasterYoda389 Жыл бұрын
@@Psittac20 well I'm 5 years in practice and I can see what it takes to get to that level. They are not exaggerating when they say it takes a lot of dedication and practice. It takes more than a decade of training, with consistent day-to-day practice several hours a day. Drugs that don't affect your motor skills (ie: weed) aren't an issue on performance. Alcohol however is the absolute worst, there's just no way to pop while drunk, waving looks ugly, even gliding don't work. The point I'm trying to make is that the main driving factor you're alluring to, I want to say isn't drugs or an underground setting; It's those countless hours the person spends practicing out of sight. I can't stress how much of a giant factor that is. The unseen work.
@Psittac20 Жыл бұрын
@@MasterYoda389 I understand, I could never dance it's just not in me. But I had friends that would battle and being on drug's on my side helped me to appreciate what they were doing. The original comment was 5 years ago when I was still fighting with the problems that those day's of drug usage brought me. And I have to say that seeing someone with skill so honed that it could portray watching someone dance while I was under the influence, it kind of scared me. I need to start watching more of this type of content without the associated trauma of going to raves. I just can't believe the skill level this video shows.
