They actually planned on not fighting each other during the Super Six. Ron Collo was Andre Ward's strength and conditioning coach, I use to work with him at the Sports Club LA in San Francisco and he told me during the Ward/Kessler fight there was already an agreement to not fight each other.

AD, I love you bruh and I say this with Aretha Franklin R.E.S.P.E.C.T Your emotions aren't in check enough to pull that fight out. Looking from a shallow gave value perspective, AD wins. Hands down. I truly believe a fight like this would rely entirely too much on the intangibles. And with that being said AW is more solid in all 4 divisions of life. Spiritually, Emotionally, Mentally and Physically. Just physical alone, AD is too gifted and GODly blessed. Mentally AW is all terrain (that's how much of a boxing head I am 😉) tried and true and AD slips in that department. He loses focuses throughout fights and it was clear as day watching him fight. Emotionally AW is waaaaaay more poised and stable, that's a clear fact from everything to boxing to having dialogue. Spiritually... We already know. A Dub gets his hand raised and I do believe Dirrell when he says he would have been AW hardest fight of his life... until AD breaks emotionally, then mentally, and the other 2 follow shortly after that. And let's clear the air cuz I don't like to pick one over the other cuz I respect and love both of these guys as fighters. But AW pulls it out. Especially when he begins his inside attack once AD begins to break down in the 4 areas. Game Over

@artman6976 Yes Sergey Kovalev wasn't in his full prime anymore when he faced Canelo but Kovalev also had a win over a young Yarde, it's not like Kovalev was coming off of a loss, no he took Yarde's belt meaning he was facing Canelo as a 175 champ. But the real answer is this - Canelo comes from 146 and knocked out Kovalev at 175...a much much smaller guy, that is the accomplishment. Ward never went to cruiserweight nevermind heavyweight...whereas Canelo stepped up 4 divisions. It's not even debatable whos career is greater. Canelo all day.

Sure, but Bivol is a ligament in his prime light heavyweight where Canelo does not even belong but he reached and did NOT get knocked out. Ward? Boy started at 168 and only went up 1 weight class (175)...thats more lucrative than jumping 4 divisions? The guy had to punch Kovalevs nuts to get the knockout, Canelo actually took him out. And Crawford vs Canelo? A nice payday but it will come with a concussion. Boy can't jump 3 divisions to fight an all time great at 168, it's suicide. Once Canelo connects on Crawford, he will get on his bike like Charlo and try to survive.
