I am Lebanese, I don't understand italian, know just some words, but whenever I listen to his song, my heart cries. His voice is a gift from God, from heaven. A human being can not listen to him without breating love and hope. Andrea Bocelli is one of the greatest voice on earth. True he can not see with his eyes, but with his voice and his capacity to reach our hearts, he seen what we may never see in our whole life time.

i love this rarely-performed Bocelli song, one of his all-time greatest! I love how it takes its melody from the intermezzo from Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana! totally beautiful! and yes, it is very touching and kind! truly fantastic.

Been searching for his version of Mascagni performed by Andrea Bocelli since I saw an old video of him singing it on the Performing Arts channel - thank you for posting. I am not sure of the translation but thought it was Return to Calm - if so - then it is certainly reflective of these times.
