After 60 years of playing cello professionally, my last concert was in Miami on Valentines Day with Bocelli and his son. They sang this song. As I drove back to Orlando I played this song over and over and over. I never get tired of it. It was quite a moment.

PS: I saw Mr. Bocelli in 1997 (somewhere between 1996-1998) in Orange County, CA. I think it was his first US appearance; and he was still 'new' to The US. My friends were going to attend, but I didn't want to go -- the tickets were $80, and I had no idea who he was. But then a friend got sick, and she just gave me her ticket. //// Mr Bocelli was escorted onto the stage by an assistant. He couldn't have been more stiff if he were dead. Just so rigid. Like he was frozen. And THEN he started to sing. And I burst out crying. I might have been embarrassed but the middle-aged man sitting next to me was crying also. LOL Jump to a few years into the future: what a sexy guy he had become! LOLOLOLOL And he still is! :-)

It was so heartfelt & why? They raised her with help in anyway they could get it. She could even ride a bicycle. I never heard them complain & feel blessed always. When I heard Bochell's story I could only cry. His Mother was advised to have an abortion. He went on to say he's glad she didn't. I'm sure glad she didn't. Then I think of the whole wide world. How blessed we are to have him, all of them♥️

A good friend of mine shared this with me knowing that I lost my son Aaron in 2018 from pancreatic cancer. I bought Andrea’s CD to my dad as a Christmas gift many years ago. He fell in love with Andrea’s voice and music. Nine years ago I received a phone call from my mom. She told me that dad had a stroke and might not make it. I was living oversees at the time and booked the first flight home, praying that I would make it on time. After the 12 hour flight I arrived at the hospital where dad was unresponsive in the hospital bed. On the second or third day, when I was all by myself with him, he suddenly opened his eyes and smiled at me for a short moment. This loving smile is forever seared into my soul. And why am I writing about this here? Andrea’s beautiful voice was one of the last voices that my dad heard during his last weeks on earth. This timeless music causes me to see and feel that beautiful smile again. “I close my eyes and I'm seeing you everywhere. I step outside, it's like I'm breathing you in the air. I can feel you're there.” At the same time this song makes me think of my relationship with my three sons; what will become of them and how a part of me stays and continues on with them. “I will smile if in the fleeing time you take me with you” (translated from Italian).

I totally agree! I'm not one of Andrea's biggest fans, but am a fan nonetheless (having bought and read his autobiography!), and this is a terrific video, and one I'm glad I stumbled on! (Would really like to know what the dislikes were for...)
