A good friend of mine shared this with me knowing that I lost my son Aaron in 2018 from pancreatic cancer. It was so heartfelt & why? They raised her with help in anyway they could get it. She could even ride a bicycle. I never heard them complain & feel blessed always. When I heard Bochell's story I could only cry. His Mother was advised to have an abortion. He went on to say he's glad she didn't. I'm sure glad she didn't. Then I think of the whole wide world. How blessed we are to have him, all of them♥️

When I hear this song and see this video, I feel the love emanating from Andrea and Matteo towards each other. I feel I'm privileged to feel this love. They are singing to each other and no one else. PS: I saw Mr. Bocelli in 1997 (somewhere between 1996-1998) in Orange County, CA. I think it was his first US appearance; and he was still 'new' to The US. My friends were going to attend, but I didn't want to go -- the tickets were $80, and I had no idea who he was. But then a friend got sick, and she just gave me her ticket. //// Mr Bocelli was escorted onto the stage by an assistant. He couldn't have been more stiff if he were dead. Just so rigid. I bought Andrea’s CD to my dad as a Christmas gift many years ago. He fell in love with Andrea’s voice and music. Nine years ago I received a phone call from my mom. She told me that dad had a stroke and might not make it. I was living oversees at the time and booked the first flight home, praying that I would make it on time. After the 12 hour flight I arrived at the hospital where dad was unresponsive in the hospital bed. On the second or third day, when I was all by myself with him, he suddenly opened his eyes and smiled at me for a short moment. This loving smile is forever seared into my soul. And why am I writing about this here? Andrea’s beautiful voice was one of the last voices that my dad heard during his last weeks on earth. This timeless music causes me to see and feel that beautiful smile again. “I close my eyes and I'm seeing you everywhere. I step outside, it's like I'm breathing you in the air. I can feel you're there.” At the same time this song makes me think of my relationship with my three sons; what will become of them and how a part of me stays and continues on with them. “I will smile if in the fleeing time you take me with you” (translated from Italian).

I’m in a similar place. One adult child died to suicide, and the other loves to constantly ignore me for many months at a time. It’s a painful journey & the only solution is letting go with detachment. A side note is that I sing the sacred word HU, & it enables me to recall many lifetimes. They often come in visions, or through dreams. As eternal soul, we have usually been w/ our loved ones in the past, even in many lives. For example a close friend recalled when we were little Native American kids playing outside on a butte. The millions of threads of connections between souls are everywhere. So the source of the resentment, alienation, feelings of betrayal, devotion, or trouble can be long forgotten consciously, but it is ALL buried in The unconscious.

Similar situation here. Took my mom and baby sister in in 2013 to give some stability. Mom died in 2016 so I legally adopted my sister and took care of her until she left my house right after turning 20 exactly 3 years ago. I haven't spoken to her once in those 3 years. Almost like she dropped off the face of the earth. My other sister, who she regularly talks to has never been able to give me a reason as to why she refuses to talk to me. Also, was in a car accident that totaled my car the day before she left. Never once asked me how I was doing or what ended up happening with that. Definitely hurts. I would have died for her if it came down to it. Not sure how you can care for someone like that, and they write you off like you meant absolutely nothing to them.

I heard this song the first time last week on his concert. Andrea Bocelli sang with Matteo. Then I found out this video and I understand that it's like he feels his son is his soulmate. He never saw him, but he always felt their moments, his son's presence. He always felt the connection between them. When I listen to this song I just can't hold my tears.
