So far, two (may be more) got noble prizes who got partaken in parts of making Interstellar movie. Andrea Ghez (Noble in Physics in 2020), Kip Thorne (Noble in Physics in 2017). In General, film directors introduce 'cast & film making crew' to movie audience, but very few directors like Nolan introduces 'cast , film making crew and scientists' to movie audience. Kudos !!

I watched her long ago in milkyway galaxy documentary explaining about blackholes. Then fascinated by her knowledge and excellent explanation. I recognized her face immediately in news channels when Nobel prize for physics were announced. Professor Andrea! I am so happy as Astronomy is my interesting subject. The award speaks how talanted and genius you are. Hopefully your students too inspire and motivate from your achievements and carry on your valuable research in galaxies forward.

I watched the documentary too many years ago when I was 13. I think that motivated me to study black holes and to keep the curiosity and interest on natural science.

Been a fan of hers ever since I saw the documentary on Sagittarius A* and was blown away by her 12-15 years worth of observations of the stars at the center of our galaxy. She’s very cool and humble, and it’s very striking to see the stars whirring past the invisible mass, it’s almost eerie.

I saw your interviews when first image of a black hole was published. Your simplified explanation of the presence of a supermassive black hole at the centre of milky way galaxy was quite new and fascinating for me. Frankly i didn't know you by name, so when the news came out this morning it was just a new information for me. But when i saw the images of the persons attached, i felt so good. Your work deserved to be recognised. You are an inspiration to me and similarly will inspire millions other girls to take up science. Many many Congratulations for the win. 🎉🎉
