@@amy923s because this person is non binary. Non binarys are people who are emotionally and quite physically if you look closely, are not male or female in particular. You mention people like that with "they" or "them" since both he/she does not work in this case.

This poem had me pouring my eyes out at three in the morning and it reminded me that recovery is good and that it doesn't mean you failed your eating disorder.

No matter how many times I watch her perform this, I always cry! It hits home! And she does such a beautiful job! I had the honor of seeing her do this poem live and it was just so powerful!

I love the way they had held onto every single word as if they too were reminding themselves to learn now to live again and I swear I clicked this video at the right timing because I've been feeling like trash all day and I needed all of their words.

I was not in a good place the first time I heard this poem and I remember the phrase "let me say right now for the record, I'm still gonna be here." I love rewatching this from a completely different place. It gets better

I wish I had heard this when I was a teenager, traumatized and feeling beyond any hope… but even still, even now, there are just some days that drag me back down, but these words have crawled into me right beside my heart for when I need them again.

Sent this to every one of my friends who I know have felt the same as me, and to everyone I've helped save from suicide and wish I could send it, so much, to all the people I couldn't, or was so young I didn't. I've watched it many times, and will continue to. Thank you

They redid The Madness Vase with a new name!!! I personally prefer the other one since it didn't feel rushed. I've been in love with this poem for years now. I still do.
