@@Shadowleecher There was a lot of hype with Lewis Hamilton in the British media, and he still did exceedingly well in his first few years (and thereafter), and there was also a lot of hype for Max Verstappen, since he was the youngest ever and had an entertaining racing style. I don't think hype kills talents. Some drivers who were hyped up were just very unlucky, not poor drivers, like Kubica, who only had half a season with a championship capable car, or Leclerc, who has shown that he can go toe to toe with Max but him and the team just make too many errors, likewise with JPM. I'm sure AKA will be a very good driver, make it to Formula One and will put on entertaining performances from time to time, but whether he wins a championship will be down to what career choices.

@@potatogirlcultist19 Just because some hyped drivers succeeded doesn't justify labeling every young talent. Comparing Antonelli to established stars ignores the individual journey. Fangio, love him, Senna, adore him, Schumacher, perfect, Alonso, we love a bad boy, Lewis, who let this man in the door, Max, I want to marry him right now and damn the details, and this new boy Kimi, probably greatest of all time. Only one of these is the greatest of all time and not just that, he beat the man who beat the new greatest, who beat the greatest who beat the greatest before him. Kimi isn't doing anything Lewis didn't. Neither did Max. Worse yet, as if Lewis needed to prove it further, he beat Max at his own game even though the RB was faster. Leaving them to resort to cheating. Andrea and his talent isn't new. He is just your type. Regardless of how his future plays out, for the love of God, please do not treat him like you did Lewis and even more so, do not continue to disrespect Lewis even if Andrea proceeds to annihilate the entire grid. If a new great shows up, if he then gets beat, it does not mean the other great wasn't as good. Details matter. For example, I am a MASSIVE RAIKKONEN FAN!! I acknowledged Lewis was better because he proved it and Kimi confirmed the measure of himself as a man as well by loving the fight more than how it made him look and fought Lewis fair. This years f2 season will be quite a feast. If he can back up his talent even there f1 will might habe a problem, since there are not enough seats and other f2 champions still dont get theyre seats.

Hes gonna get signed by Ferrari and rot in their factory like they do to all their drivers

i think i could get a seat in 2026, for the same reasons he is getting a seat in f2 now

There is a lot of hype around him. Let's see how he does next year. He could also be the next Jarno Trulli, but we shall see.

Kimi Antonelli is a true talent and I hope he gets a chance to even reach F1. I hope he has a good team around him because in F1 these days it is not only about being talented or fast. Mercedes is not known for taking chances on young drivers. That is why Max chose to go to Red Bull. They know with Kimi they have to move fast otherwise they will lose him. Let's see how he does in F1. If he can handle criticism he is on the right track.
