It was so hard for me to pick the winner that year because Mexico, Brazil & Peru were all in my Top 5 predictions! Imagine my happiness to see all 3 of them in the actual top 5. During the finals, everyone including me thought Peru would win.. But then I realized that Andrea is indeed the total package & I completely understand why she won.. Yo solo sé que hizo un papel impecable, y no juzgo a los haters, compitió con mujeres hermosas y preparadas, pero en su momento no supieron reconocer su triunfo cegados por lo mismo, como arriba comento, por la implicacion política, social y actual de la pandemia, fue una pregunta delicada, ya que conocemos el manejo de la pandemia en nuestro país en un principio, pero tuvo una respuesta excelente comenzando con que no había una forma perfecta de manejar esto, pero dio una idea muy acertada de lo que debió hacerse desde el principio, desde ahí fue insuperable lo que hizo esa noche y con los speach mejoraron bastante otras pero Andrea se impuso y no se bajó de ahí.

It’s funny how I have avoided reading or following a Miss Universe winner like I did after Andrea won because I felt there were better performances. After co-hosting the preliminaries with Carlson, I realized how good she is as an orator. Her voice, confidence, beauty and natural appeal is outstanding.
