Well, Pirlo's played almost his entire career in Italy. He started learning English when he was playing here in NYC for about two and a half years. He went through Kaplan, where David Villa learned English as well. But it's harder to learn a language when you're older.

Uh no he didn't. Literally everyone who watched the game saw Pirlo lose the ball more often than not. Whenever he did get creative areas it was because of 1-2 plays, where Park would inevitably track back and close down anyways.
