Join me on Day 9 of my World Run from Bodmin to Redruth! Starting in the early morning darkness along the peaceful Camel Trail, the day was filled with quiet moments and unexpected encounters-a friendly farmer, a horse and its riders, and even a 92-year-old man with stories from his school days.
The journey wasn’t without challenges, from unexpected roadwork and reroutes to navigating private roads and highways. But small acts of kindness, like three young men at a car wash helping me clean my muddy buggy, made all the difference.
Fueled by a coffee and almond croissant with my crew in St. Newlyn East, I pushed through the final miles and arrived in Redruth, where I’m resting before my big run to Land’s End tomorrow.
This is my second last day in the UK running for now before heading to South America to continue this incredible journey. Thank you for your support-it keeps me going every step of the way!
