During the 1970s, I was age 5 through 16. I loved disco music and this was the first single I ever bought. But I never went to disco clubs (I was too young, plus I only could find rock fan friends, not disco fan friends) and I never had a woman the way you mean in the 70s. We didn't know back then what was to become of these songs. All we knew was the Girl us guys danced with and how we at those tender years came into our lives. I remember my first kiss with a girl from Texas while at summer camp that great summer of 1975 in New Hampshire. I thought she danced great, she thought the same of me. To this song we danced and when we went outside to the sound of this song poured out the windows of the dance hall. I hear this now and I remember her as sure as the sun rises today. What a time.

What I miss about the disco music era of the mid to late 70's is the actual disco clubs themselves. The energy of the music of course and the ambiance of the club, but mostly the dressing up in great clothes. In those days with disco clubs, everyone dressed up, including the guys. Not like today, where you can't tell the difference between most youth and homeless people.
