My brother used to be a trumpet player in flesh and bones. Today 7 years ago he passed away due to cancers decease. At his funeral we played this song at his request. Now at least once a year I listen to this song and every time I hear this song it touches me in my soul. Dear Andrea, thank you so much for this memorable song, which I will definitely cherish for the rest of my life. Grandissimo!!

What a phenomenal core tone! This sounds so simple, probably within the range of most middle school trumpet players, but the technique and phrasing just transforms whole notes and half notes from an etude to a chorale. Bach would be proud.
