Bravo Andrea, dans ce genre d'interprétation, c'est le coeur du trompettiste qui vibre avec sa colonne d'air, c'est au moins aussi important que la technique. Un son si ample, si rempli, brillant mais sobre, un régal, je voudrais entendre ça tous les jours de ma vie ! C'est sans doute le coeur d'un italien, immense !

..."The Lonely Shepherd" is the composition of the Romanian pan flute (nai) player Gheorghe (George) Zamfir. And... "The Lonely Shepherd" could have been inspired straight from George Zamfir's own early life: spending most of his childhood as a goat herder, outside his village, Găești (Romania), with a passion for folk Romanian music, he used to "manufacture" himself all sort of flutes... later, all sort of pan flutes... After a while, the Romanian television (TVR) discovered his talent, promoted him as an remarkable artist... Electrecord - the only Romanian recording studio at the time - started recording his music... launching his artist career...

I quite possibly had been listening to a few of his videos and just made a mistake. It appears no-one can make any such "mistakes" these days (the hyper critical days).

Thanks Andrea. Just realised I have gone from playing each and every night to not slumping to a complete break for 8 weeks. With the lockdown and the end of clapping for health service have not played at all. Totally not like me but a sense of hopelessness with all my groups cancelled etc. Anyway just heard this and getting trumpet out now . Cheers mark
