Thank you for your feedback! 🥰 I use the Catrice True Skin foundation most of the time. I find that it stays in place well on the skin, without looking overly matte or overly dewy. For concealer, I’ve definitely used the Too Faced Born This Way the longest because it wears really well and looks really smooth on the skin!

The Nyx Blur foundation only jives with oil based primers because it's an oil based foundation. Maybe your skin doesn't do well with oil based products because you're oily. That is certainly the case for me! ❤️

I love mixing my foundations. Not only to get the right colour but to get the right finish. It’s also a way to use those foundations in my collection I don’t really love on their own. I’ve discovered some great combos.

You can get the LA Girl white mixer (that’s what I use) or if you like the Haus Labs, they make an almost white foundation that can probably be mixed.

ooh do you think the ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter could be mixed with a foundation to lighten or darken it? I accidentally got a couple of shades too light in the Fenty foundation and have been looking for a way to correct for that since I didn't return it in time 🥲

My foundation secret is mixing the Fenty Eaze drops into glowy foundations. It blurs and minimizes texture. It also increases wear time and the shade match is perfect. I love it with so many different foundations. Its my most worn foundation but it looks bad on its own. If anyone has Eaze drops try it as a mixer!

I am so sad that Catrice is not in Ulta anymore 😢. I am trying the under eye primer for concealers by Makeup Revolution and so far I am really impressed how smooth my under eyes are with it under my concealer.

I thought it was just my area which happens to be a beach resort that has a upper end year round residents that shop high end products and clothes since they have the money and usually retired. Then I started to notice more and more Ulta’s didn’t have it anymore. Amazon only is not ok. I personally suck at choosing foundations, lipsticks and blush online

What's weird is that some drugstore foundations cause me to break out. The ones that doesn't are: - Colourpop's Pretty Fresh Line -> doesn't break me out even though I do have oily skin - E.L.F. Halo Glow Liquid Filter mixed with the Flawless Finish Foundation - Essence Keep Me Covered Long Lasting Foundation in Light Medium - Neutrogena Skin Clearing Makeup Oil Free -> first drugstore foundation I purchased it hides my breakouts - Maybelline Fit Me! Matte and Poreless Liquid Foundation in Light - Wet N Wild Tinted Hydrator in Light

LOVE LOVE LOVE your declutters. It’s like a million reviews in one sitting and you’ve used them all 100 times so it’s the most thorough info. Well not that you’re not always thorough, because you totally are. Tyvm btw 😊 but you’ve had them around longer is all. Did want to say that the la girl mix ins will mattify your foundations a little bit I’ve heard from Taylor I think but not crazy like. Also don’t throw out all your too dark foundations especially if you’re getting the white mix in. I’ve been wanting that blue one for freaking ever, and don’t know why I still don’t have it, because it’s been so hard to find truly neutral foundations. It seems like they are all so damn yellow/orange. It says it’s neutral, put it on…orange. And finicky foundations….BYE seriously can’t be bothered with that crap anymore. Lol

I have the KvD one and I am still trying to find a way to make it look more natural. At the end of the day, it always looks like I’m wearing a ton of foundation. But when I first apply, it looks good but it never blends in with the skin.

I just got the catrice true skin foundation because of you and I'm OBSESSED (it's so good and affordable), I realized my past foundations expired since the formula got weird and got the catrice as my affordable option. I'm planning to get the Fenty beauty for my high end option (just saw Fenty will sell some minis so I'm planning to get one of those to test it out)

Hi Andrea! I was wondering if you could tell me your shade in the KVD foundation, and your best shade in the Colourpop Pretty Fresh foundation. I have swatched the Colourpop foundation so many times in Ulta, to find my perfect shade, but the lighting is so “off” in Ulta stores, I always get the wrong shades. You and I have similar complexions, so I think, if I just buy your exact shades, I will hit the jackpot every time. 😊🙏🏼

I understand what you mean about the lighting! I have light 024 in the KVD foundation but it's a little too dark for me! I think Light 021 might be a better match for me and ColourPop's Light 45 would be pretty similar to that shade (I think). It might just be half a shade lighter so I think those two would be pretty close. Light 45 leans a little more yellow toned so if you are more neutral, I would go with Light 40N or Light 55N!

What shade are you in the KVD serum foundation? It's my latest one I picked up and I'm in light 15 but the mua at Sephora tried L12 on me and it matched but looked kinda like a mask. I'm really curious how it would be mixed with the Haus Labs or Hydromaniac because it is really matte. I wanted to love the Catrice true skin foundation but I had the worst time finding my shade. I sent back 3 and gave up lol. 🤷‍♀️

I love to see hear you out on these products. It’s so funny because I’ve been watching you for so long so I remember when you used to use the Colourpop concealers as foundation! Funnily enough, a lot of what works for you, also works for me except for the Nyx foundation (I love it and it’s a top fave atm) and the makeup revolution foundation (enhanced my pores so badly)! But that’s just the way it goes with makeup 😅 ps. Super cute nails!

The more I use the Colourpop Pretty Fresh Foundation, the more I dislike it 😒. I have very dry skin and I watched several reviews claiming that this foundation is hydrating. Unfortunately, it's not hydrating for me at all! 😢 In fact, it dries my skin more and looks super cakey. Sadly, I can't return it for a refund from Colourpop so I'll use it, but I have to mix it with a face oil. I'm so bummed! 😩

last year I found was really off with the colour matches I ordered 2 foundations off saphora useing their colour selected match on their site I sent both back one was yellow and the other looked orange leaning I sent both back unopened and I bought a nars foundation natural radiant long wear as I can go into a store and colour match one it was a nightmare I found personally getting a colour match xx
