Great tutorial and absolutely loved how it continues on to the Digitone tutorial. I’ve got both machines and this is just what I’ve been looking for. Spent my birthday working on these and had the time of my life. Hope you continue sharing your knowledge with us. Thank you!!!

Just noticed that Ive forgot to leave a comments here, fixing it now :) Just as I said one of the best groove programming tutorials I've seen in a while! Also very inspiring, thanks a lot! 🙏 Im so used to using param locks now that it makes me wonder how would someone program this stuff in ableton cause u would need to copy a sample multiple times to adjust envelope for each step, so much easier it is to do so on a digitakt!
@AndreasHimmes Жыл бұрын
Thank You. 🙏 Indeed ! In Ableton you can do this easy with the Push-Controller but Not so comfortable like the Elektron-Sequencer.

Thanks a lot for this great tutorial, very appreciated, especially when you try to get your feet into other genres. Are the samples all tuned on 0 or differently?

Tune the Kick & Snare to your Track-Key and after that, adjust the Hihat & Percussion-Elemtens to Kick&Snare. 😉

If you are running through overbridge, how are you setting the takt to be able to pan sounds? Everything ive tried leaves me with the only option being the DAW for panning :(
@AndreasHimmes3 жыл бұрын
Single Channel-Output via Overbridge ? Pan doesn’t work with Single-Channel-Routing.
@lukesyrylo3883 жыл бұрын
@@AndreasHimmes I noticed in your video you are planning your hats. How are you achieving that if you are running audio via usb? I’m defiantly missing something here. Btw amazing content. Thanks so much :) super inspiring.

@@lukesyrylo388 Planning ? (You mean Panning ?) 🤔
@lukesyrylo3883 жыл бұрын
@@AndreasHimmes Hey man, sorry for not being as eloquent as i should have been. Ive noticed in your videos that you are tracking into the computer. Im assuming your panning your drums within the digitakt. we all know panning while using overbridge doesnt work. So... "how do you record those pan movements through overbridge when you are recording. I love how minimal your set up is and im curious to how you've achieved this hybrid set up
@AndreasHimmes3 жыл бұрын
@@lukesyrylo388 Panning WORKS while using OVERBRIDGE. But you can not use Routing/SingleChannelOutputs. If you send all Tracks thru Single-Outputs to your DAW, you override the Panning, Reverb, Delay and all other "MASTER"-FX. I use Overbridge but all Channels are routed standard. All Channels are routed to the MAIN ! In Options-Menu "ROUTE TO MAIN 10/10" and "SEND TO FX 9/9" . I use it as the convinience Way to send Audio to my DAW. Best Option to need no Audio-Cables, no Midi-Cables and no Latency-Issues.
