Hey Andrei, great vid as always! After watching any of your videos I always feel the urge to practice what I just watched and see the progress. Thank you! I’d focus on shooting the type of properties I’d want to shoot and showcase so I’d target higher end luxury clients. Even if it was for free, just portfolio work to land those jobs. Also would reach out to local realtors, model homes, and any family friends that could help me out to shoot some properties. Thanks for watching!

Love your videos! I am a real estate agent for Century 21 located in Bowie Maryland. I want to get started with real estate photography, what would be a beginner guide? For example if you have to start over what equipment would you get, if you knew very little about camera work what would you do etc. Thanks!

Thanks so much! It's tough question to answer honestly, especially regrind budgets and such. But I'd invest in some preowned gear, like mpb.com, and look at canon mirrorless like the EOS R or RP since canon's user interface is easier than Sony's for example. Then the proper lens like a 16-35 EF F4 lens + the EF-RF adapter, and then a tripod, and you're ready to go. After that I would just learn as much as I can. Right now im looking to get into real estate photography but Im not sure what equipment to buy. So far i know I will get the Mavic 3 pro cine drone, but what camera should i buy? Also should i get a 360 camera for virtual tours?

Nice! The Mavic 3 cine is way overkill though, unless you’ll get other use out of it. I use a mavic air 2 and it was more than plenty for this type of work. Do you have any camera gear already? If not, I’d like at preowned canon mirrorless cameras like the EOS R or RP along with the proper wide angle lens. Then just need a tripod, and you’re ready to go. I would hold off the 360 virtual tours until you’re doing this jobs and agents ask for them

Hi Andre, great content and suuuper helpful for beginners. Would shooting 3 brackets at -2, 0, +2 be enough to get the job done? My budget only allows me to get a camera that doesn't go beyond -2, +2 so I was wondering what your experience/opinion is on that. Thank you for all these videos and giving free help.

Great video, can I ask who you use to edit your images and the cost per 5 bracket exposure. I typically shoot 25-30 brackets per home so it would need to be fairly cheap to use an external editor otherwise i would be giving away most of the money I charge. Interested to know your thoughts.

Thanks so much! I started with using a company called PhotoUp, where it was a credit based system per the amount of photos. Then I went to an overseas company called BeePec which was pretty decent for awhile. They were charing around $1-$1.50 / bracket shot I think. Thanks so much! Yeah it was hard to find someone that could do the work like I wanted. Luckily it was a referral from another RE videographer and they’re a small local editing team that do RE videos locally in TX. But they have their own rates that worked with me, a bunch of direction to get everything where I wanted, and now it’s working great!

Hey Andrei! Question about shooting 5 bracket photos with your R6 ii. I currently replaced my R5 with the R6 ii because it was overkill for RE. I haven’t found a way to shoot 5 bracket photos with full control over the shutter when in manual mode. It only changes the aperture with all 5 bracketed photos. Which is not go for HDR blending. The only work around I have found is shooting in AV mode but then the camera changes the shutter with EV compensation automatically. It wasn’t like this on my R5. I had full manual control with my shutter when shooting bracketed photos. Have you found this to be any different coming from your R6 mark i? Thank you in advance!

Hey! Man, that's strange. I find it to be exactly the same like previous canon cameras! Here's how I do it, in manual mode, I setup the photo like I would for a single exposure, then go to the second sub menu to AEB, and do 2 stops apart. Either 3 or 5 bracket.

Exactly, you never want your aperture to change. That’ll be some weird merging effects. Only shutter speed, correct!
