I remember coming home after a football match and my dad was watching the show. This whole performance just captured me. The voice of Mirusia and the choir gave me goosebumps. As a fellow Australian like Mirusia is, I can assure you that in person at her now own shows, that voice soars within the hall she is performing at with her normal ten piece band. My wife and I have seen her live four times now and are booked again on the 8th May next month. One of my friends lives not fat away from where she lives in an area known as The Redlands in Southern Brisbane. He says that the girl you see on screen is the girl in person. A bubbling personality who is very friendly and very natural. We are all so proud of her. Her shows consist of all genres of music from Opera to Jazz, pop and theatre music.

I found this piece by accident -- the family was watching a movie, and this song (although I don't think it was this version of the song) came on as accidental music in one scene. We were all entranced. Did a little research, got here. Just a fantastic piece of music (thank you Mr. Verdi), and Mirusia did it justice with her measured, exquisite soprano. Wonderful.
