I feel like I want to cry. I heard this every Sunday in Love 101 in Jamaica. I left at 17 years old andsnever heard it again. I spent years trying to find it, humming it to others to get the name of it and tonight, Feb 15, 2024 I’m in tears. Tears of joy, tears of sadness…. It makes me feel everything all all once. This is in my top 3 things to hear and listen to…. And I haven’t heard it in over 14 years. God--The peace it preached over me is tremendous. Thank you so much

Same for me! I heard it once at 8 years old, only remember a bit of the main melody, spent years trying to look for it, and finally found the name on a friend's CD which was playing when I was riding in her car. I was 15, it took me only 7 years not 14 but the sheer feeling at that time of knowing the name of it I will never forget.

Last week we were in Paris, where we had a very special guest: Adeline de Senneville! Her father composed the world famous 'Ballade pour Adeline' when she was born as a tribute to his newborn daughter. Of course we played the piece in Paris. It was a very touching moment for all of us! I really can't stop listening to this music... It brings me back to times when I sneak to the room where we had true big Vienna concerto piano, my grandmother bought from the local manor just after WorldWar II... I spend nights trying to play... As a partially deaf child nobody think about sending me to any piano lessons... piano was not set up correctly some strings needed to replace... but it all means nothing... The music... it was the only thing which really matter.... Somebody can say that this performance is not perfect... Can say that that there are so many other beautiful pieces... Yes... maybe... but this one really moves my soul... In the most true and deep way... Its simplicity... its opthimism... tenderness... For me it is true masterpiece

I have watched this perhaps a dozen times and everytime with moist eyes. I'm Indian and haven't heard this before so it's kinda fascinating how music bridges all humanity. I'm also a big fan of Staphanie❤
