This is such an inspiring testimony of how Andres’ sought to know God through studying the Bible. Early in his searching, he was very wise to compare what a friend taught him to what the Bible teaches. So he powerfully experienced the wonderful truth of 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” Andres' story is so encouraging because it shows how he discovered the powerful reality of listening to God’s Word-as Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ." As Jesus said, “I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life” (John 5:24). It is fantastic to see how the Biblical discipleship training in Switzerland clearly taught Andres the truth of Proverbs 3:5-6 that applies in all life’s experiences as a believer, whether they are easy or difficult, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths” Thank you for this beautiful testimony of God’s work in Andres’ life! -Professor George, PhD, ThD
