To me this video parallels life, with the incessant and persistent build up of ourselves taking up so much time, followed by fleeting, fast, and quickly forgotten moments of bliss and joy, and the gradual but beautiful descent away from it all

I know that Bayer was inspired to make this after a dearly departed loved one left the Earth, but I find this video has a deeper message and theme of Panentheism, which is a beautiful thing for me. I love the imagery and symbolism in the video. Energy is the Arche. We are the Universe becoming aware of itself.

@ThisIsJura It's not about "death" per-say. Andrew Bayer wrote the production while dealing with the loss of his brother :( A&B have since been dedicating this track to those who left the earth too soon, as I'm sure you already know. I think it's more appropriate to say "From The Earth" is a celebration of Mr. Bayer's life. This is why I have always and always will love Anjuna!

I loved reading all your comments. I came here today to listen to this track after finding out about the death of a friend whom I connected with mostly through trance music. Words cannot explain how crucial it is that we don't take moments like that for granted. R.I.P Chris and Lana

The most amazing thing happened today. I was listening to TATW #415 in my car and a storm had just gone through. Then as soon as I was able to recognize the next song on the playlist, this one, I turned a corner and saw the end of a rainbow in the sky directly in front of me. It was too perfect and quite an emotional moment.

I read about bokeh lenses over here, so my curious mind learned something new, which is all good 😄. The heart shaped sparks @ 1:29 really fit the bubbly synth line coming in. My first thought @ the video was: is he making some explosive device? That says something about the challenging times we live in. At the same time this song's positive spirit tells these challenges can be overcome. What a tremendous beauty this song is, and the video is really fitting. Peace and harmony.

How did they do the heart shaped sparks!?
@earlgrey21307 жыл бұрын
With a particle emitter in a video editing program :) It's not real
@Scott.Sandifer7 жыл бұрын
Don't listen to EarlGrey. That's wrong. It's TOTALLY REAL-at least, insofar as it's an optical artifact, not a digital effect. This effect is one of the weird quirks about optics and apertures. Out-of-focus sparks and lights usually appear round in photos because the apertures inside cameras are usually round. If the aperture in your camera were say… heart shaped, you'd get heart shaped sparks and lights. But you don't need to rip apart your camera to pull this off. You'll need a SLR or DSLR camera and a lens with a big-assed aperture like f1.8 or f1.4 or something. Take a piece of cardboard or index card or paper or something, cut a small heart shaped hole in it (like half an inch or so - experiment) right in the center, and just put this card right over the lens as if it were a lens cap. What's in focus will look normal, but out-of-focus lights will look like hearts. Any shape will work. But you will need to experiment. Google heart shaped bokeh if you don't believe me! Enjoy!
@lkbergen7 жыл бұрын
I'm almost certain that it's viable with a custom heart shaped aperture and decent lens. Search KZbin for bokeh shape lens photography, and take it from there. However, this is just a guess. If anyone gets it to work, hola at me, I wanna see! :)
