What hope is there for mankind when there are only 160 likes? I bought “Dialogue of the Drums “ in 1974. I never got to hear Milford Graves live but was privileged to hear Andrew Cyrille with Cecil Taylor at Ronnie Scott’s. A time STOPPING experience!

I added #167... but yeah, I know what you mean.... But on the bright side, humanity is richer for these two being in the timeline, and lucky for us, in our present.

So glad that this is available. The artistry of these two giants of percussion is so inspiring. And great to be able to view what might have been Milford’s final performance.

While most definitely a later performance, it wasn't his final performance. I know he performed a solo set at a series honoring him very close to home, in Jamaica, Queens on Jul 13, 2019. patch.com/new-york/jamaica/jamaica-downtown-jazz-festival-pays-tribute-milford-graves
