This is a true story: In 1984 I was visiting Los Angeles with my sister, we went to the comedy club. All the rooms were full except for "The Belly Room." So we went there. And this guy came out in an leather jacket, smoking Marlboros, with a heavy duty Philly affect. We sat in the front, and the comic picked on me and my sister for the whole 40 minute act - but it was funny as hell. My sides hurt for days afterwards from laughing so hard. After the show, some people came out and asked my sister and me to meet Mr. Clay, and he spoke with us for 10 minutes. I don't remember what he said, but his personality was kind, gentle, etc. He just wanted to thank us for being good sports. Great gentleman.
