These days that a bad thing given how stale snl is. They seriously need to cancel that show.
@bernardocantu773 жыл бұрын
@@bodbn understand that point in terms of the quality of the show. But its still a remarkable achievement for anyone. Not an easy gig to get.

Just like their most talented female cast member, Melissa. She gets so little air time compared to others who just aren't as funny or talented imho.
@dthill962 жыл бұрын
He’s been on the writing staff for the past 3/4 years
@Ela.elizabeth2 жыл бұрын
Melissa is super talented, they should be spending more time writing sketches that are specifically for her. The fact that she doesn't yet have her own reoccurring character (something like Kristin Wigg & either the "special" sister singer or Gilly) is a travesty. They did it for her, so why not Melissa? She just needs a chance to shine. She seems super shy in a way, but I honestly think that's something to do with the fact that she's on so little, the pressure must seem higher to get it perfect.

A lot of talented people, women in particular, left the show, having never been able to show their range or depth of talent. For years the writing staff had the homogenous perspective of teenaged white boys churning out really immature material. I hate to see talent wasted

Pity the edit was done before Dismukes' appearance in the Emma Stone/Bowen Yang "Naked in New York" music video, the one that proved, once for all time, that in Andrew Dismukes mankind has crafted the sexiest otter ever.

Cajuns are of french and black descent. Very few are of actual Acadian descent as well, Acadians being Native American tribes local the north eastern half of north america I have trouble believing this kid is anything beyond french descent. kinda predictable punchlines for someone who hasn't lived much yet, just making generalizations about his own background that he seems to be unaware of
@patrickbowen6583 Жыл бұрын
Acadians were not Native American my guy and you’re confusing Cajun and Creole which are distinct from one another

Youre thinking of Creoles. Kind of hilarious how confidently wrong you are though.

SNL hires anybody nowadays. No wonder the quality of the show is in the toilet.
