I wish I still had the tape of this concert. Bill was soooo into Gladys. What's not to love about her? No one can touch Gladys' voice til this day. Wish I could see the whole thing...

Andrew, you should do some tutorials on this, the other G.K. performance on KZbin, and some of your other live outings. I'd certainly love to learn to play some of this stuff. What say you, sir? Pleeeeeeease!

I first heard you play when I was in college when you played with James Moore and the MS Mass... I've been studying your tone since. You affected so many bass players with that project in a positive way... It's amazing how far your influence stretches. My approach and aggressiveness as well as clarity was born after hearing that album. Keep inspiring us all brother.

It's your performance with Gladys at the Sinbad Summer Jam show that made me want to become a bass player. Seriously. I must have watched that tape 1000 times. Your take on "Heard it from the grapevine" was so grooving and effortless. Of course there was no internet to google who was that bass player back then, but now that I got your ear, can you please, please, please record that bass line with just a drum track so I can hear it fully? Thanks for being awesome!

They both sound great to me. Once I get established, I'll one in a 5 and the other in a 6.

Andrew: I love your playing. You really drive the song. Do you know if there is any video of your gig with Ms. Knight in 1995, Summer Jam? Thank you, David Perez

Is that a Ken Smith. How do you compare the Smiths to the MTD's?
