Sure there is fake "concensus," it is easy to gain almost unanimous "consensus" when the entire scientific community is threatened with alternative of a bullet to the heads of those they care about if they step out of line. What do you think the real purpose of a "peer-reviewed" journal is? Think promotion of the same agenda. 99% of the population of this earth has a price. They are told "Do this and keep your mouth shut or those things you care about die, will be taken away, or worse." and this is a very effective method of coercion. And sadly, unlike the US your nation probably does not have the guarantees of freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

3 things getting me through this: 1) tv - getting caught up on shows as I’m restricted to my home, 2) books - getting caught up on reading, 3) video games like world of warcraft. So basically it’s like an extended vacation or spring break

Fun insights into the marvelous mind of Andrew Klavan. One point Andrew made that I wholly agree with now. Don't collect 'stuff' just to occupy your time. Go out and DO stuff. I've done a lot in my lifetime, but I could have done and seen a lot more if I wasn't always quite so interested in adding to several of my different eclectic collections.

I collect cookbooks.. from thrift shops. They don’t cost much, they aren’t valuable to anyone but me. The older ones are great now because they use basic ingredients instead of brand name stuff. We eat well during the shut down.

I too appreciate a good Scotch, Glenlivet’s 12 is one of my favorites so Drew if you see this comment give it a shot! I’ve always wondered how people can read multiple books at a time and still acuire the information adequately. I’m considering giving it a shot but I’m still apprehensive as I think I might just only stick to one.

Mary Heatwole I ordered a ceramic one that was little more expensive so I could have one that was made well and not a piece of flimsy crap, I regret that decision, it still fits well and is nice, hangs on my wall but it’s too heavy, so my advice is go for the plastic lighter weight ones, easier on the face

My state of Pennsylvania is apparently the only state in the nation to close our liquor stores... 😑 They were apparently referring alcoholics to rehab helpline and opened an online store so that people could order liquor online, but within 24 hours the online store became overwhelmed with orders, and they shut it down... 😏 So, now I'm stuck with beer... Government fucks up everything!
