It's such a shame that so many people only into pop and top 40 will only know Nicole for what she's done with the PCD. This performance is just breathtaking in so many ways. Have you heard her sing Phantom of the Opera? They picked her because she's already sung for Webber. In fact, I bet he chose her for this. She was beautiful. Close your eyes and just listen. Her version is closer the opera sound that Webber originally wrote. Madonna's version was good, but I wouldn't say good enough for a stage audience.

@Catsnmi2 he played Raoul in POTO, but never cast as Phantom. Now it is being retired in Feb, 2023. Worst decision ever. Michael did a duet of "Music of the Night" w Leslie Garrett. Wonderful. Leslie did a fantastic job-less screechy than Brightman. And Michael played the Phantom differently than most, more sensual. Needs to play Phantom before it is retired. His voice and acting is far above Michael Crawford, orig. POTO.
