A class act, fixes on all the positives. In every interview he skirts around George's darker times, when the circling gutter press would probably love to pay him loads for the more private stuff. Never sold George out, a proper mate.

SO GLAD I WAS PART OF THIS ERA..THE BEST YEARS FOR ME. .A VERY SPECIAL TIME AND INCREDIBLE MEMORIES! ....❤💓💕💖💗💝💞💟..I saw George Michael at Earls Court in London. 27,000 people. I was reeling from the experience weeks. GM for me was my wildest dream! Even when hd came out I had no reservations about him. So talented and just a beautiful soul. I wish he'd lived another 30 years but it wasn't to be. God bless you Andrew for the book and bringing George back to us spiritually. So dearly missed ....still, after all this time 💏xxx...Thank you again! 2019 xxxxx😇

Still can’t believe he’s gone , such a tragic loss . It’s lovley that Andrew has written this wonderful book, he is hurting and I imagine it’s helping him heal .... he’s said that there has been no closure and he’s right , the real truth will never be told I feel about George’s death 😢

According to the book, the guys named themselves "WHAM!" because of a rather famous guitar owned by Paul Weller. 66.media.tumblr.com/a8da0c37a358f77249d1d22660fe0fe6/tumblr_olku71rNX91ur7c0zo1_400.jpg And according to hired gun guitarist Hugh Burns who played on WHAM!'s "Make it big" and "The final" albums and on George Michael's solo albums, Andrew still is severely underrated as a guitarist.

Both George and Andrew have british and mixed heritage. George (greek Cypriot from fathers side), Andrew (Italian Eyptian from fathers side), which explains the look. In fact, in early wham / and early Faith interviews, George would often talk about him and Andrew having that second generation influence, coupled with his mom's influence all wrapped up in an upwardly mobile 80s era.

Funny how this story of how they started comes out now when George is not here to verify or deny that's how it started. Andrew taking all the credit.

I follow them since 1984...this is the real history. George explained it, in many interviews. He was a shy guy...Andrew gave him the courage to conquer the world

@@alwaysme9575 yep, george in all his interviews discussing wham, would always underline the personal impact Andrew had on him, and readily said he wouldn't be where he was if it wasn't for Andrew in those days. But it ran its course, and George went into the stratosphere in the 80s.

Patently untrue and presumptive to state Andrew took the credit. He certainly never took the credit. Andrew has stated repeatedly that George had the talent. Andrew grounded George and gave support and ambition. They were never competitors. Each understood their individual role in the band and gave in their own way.

sharp shooter Hello, ANY George Michael fan, will know he said in countless interviews and documentaries, that George put out over the years before,he passed away, George(himself)gave Andrew credit for his career, the comment you posted: (Andrew's taking credit) is NOT TRUE!!!!! George ALWAYS CREDITED Andrew for his success! Andrew and George were genuine friends.
