I think kendrick should step to whatever comedian he thinks is out of line rather than writing a song addressing it. It just seems like he wants to start shit up and drag people into his feelings. Normally if a man has a problem with something another man is doing you confront that man and talk in person. Seems logical to me. Black community is weird to me. Even that jordan kneely guy with the choking on the subway incident. That guy was intimidating and acting like he was gonna hurt a black woman and black women even made statements about the guy making them uncomfortable and a white man stepped in to help restrain him. It's unfortunate that he died but all I hear from black people is that it's racially motivated. How? I don't understand how you guys are all riled up over stupid little shit like that and at the same time celebrate music and culture that is leading to black youth genociding themselves. Little babies get caught in crossfire every other week. Where is the outrage for those incidents?

Not just fans of Kenny, but anyone. Strange that it’s assumed that anyone who took offense etc must be a “Kendrick fan”. When I’ve seen many that don’t rock with Dot express bewilderment or outrage. The irony is Andy’s rage bait then gaslighting. Off of catching a stray from a bar. That wasn’t directed toward him in the first place. As if he requires permission to speak to the community of men to whom he belongs. So swiftly attempt to demasculate. I’m sure his right wing audience (DL 🌈) loved that.

Schulz has been on a rampage, the bigger he’s gotten. Charlamagne can’t control him because Schulz doesn’t respect him like that. He looks up to him in the business because he put him on, but it stops there. There’s a hierarchy and Schulz feels on top now. Dynamic’s changed over the 10 years they’ve had the podcast. Schulz was a little humbler when he was on the come up, but you could always see the tyrant in him. It just got bigger as his career blew up. Charla tries to check him sometimes but he usually laughs along. Their opinions have grown apart over the years and Schulz has been more confident in his polarizing views and jokes. He’s just finally getting the attention of the other side of the culture. And he plays on being a comedian, but he’s definitely given glimpses of his true feelings. No surprise and he definitely feels like Charlamagne, Taylor and Alex are his excuses because they go along with it. It’s crazy but it’s deep. He’s finally coming out.

Andrew's whole point, agree or disagree, is that instead of actually physically protecting black women in hip hop. He's working with the artists who confirmed put there hands on women; Dre, Chris brown, etc. Instead he's going after the lowest hanging fruit by policing a white comedian when he made a joke about some black women dating, wile discussing dating white women and black women. It's hypocritical and cowardly. Hip hop has this macho image, and when Kendrick called for violence against Charlemagne in the bar after(which you didn't quote),he then threw that fake macho shit back in Kendricks face when he made the point that one to one, man to man, he could do anything he wanted to Kendrick. Now black twitter is either uninformed or deliberately dodging the righeous critisism..

You made a joke about the exact same topic and laughed out loud and NOT A SOUL in the shop said anything to you. ask yourself why this is the case. im not on the defense here but standing outside the box. Yall should be breaking down everything that brought the situation to this point without taking things out of context. The moral scale is meant to be balanced so if you understand the joke when the target is switched you have to accept it on the other side as well. the wind blows the leaves no matter which direction it comes from... Now we can all say what we want to say but you can't be mad at how someone responds to what is being said ... As far as the "drop the soap" line...I feel you to an extent. We've all laughed at that line, true...and before I continue today as a 35 year old man I understand that jokes about sa are NOT funny at all. But, sa is a real thing that happens all the time in prison and happens for a variety of reasons, not saying it's ok but it's a reality and that's never going to change. I've known quite a few ppl who have done prison time and I never once have said or even thought about joking about "dropping the soap" to them. We have to be better as people.

Whose hypocrisy though? Because Kendrick has never made songs disrespecting black women and he wasn’t even talking to Shultz in that verse. He was actually referring to his black cohost for allowing it. Who by the way apologized for it.

Charlamagane also said in that podcast, that "Comedians are free to say what they want, BUT they are not free consequences of what they say either." So he defended Schulz, while also telling him that he's not free from whatever consequences come from he says. That quote didn't tell whole story, just so they could have something else to say, other than just attacking Schulz for what he said.
