I don't think he hates it, I think he's just done with it. Or maybe he is just too polite to show how much those questions annoy him. He will probably have to endure another couple of years of that. This has been a great year for him, though, maybe he's already on the way out of that loop.

his edgar was. utterly stunning. i really can't even express how much he stole the show for me (from ANTHONY FRICKIN HOPKINS) in this movie! his acting in the scene when he re-encounters gloucester, paired with the directing choices of the fog and the stunning costuming, literally took my breath away. do you ever see a piece of art that's just so perfect it makes you want to cry? that was andrew scott in lear, even though that sounds utterly insane.
