Tough crowd was a show like that. Its really hard to do though because its high stakes comedy. If its funny its not insensitive if you bomb people could just perceive you as racist. Think about Lenny Bruce. He was pushing the envelope on what you were aloud to say for freedom of speech in general. Finally Wondershowzen getting some recognition for its epic ridiculousness! Too bad they didn’t realize it was Wondershowzen to give them credit for it. Also it’s funny because the creators of Wondershowzen were black, white and Asian. Andrew and Bobby are 15 or so years late to that idea. How else do you think Wondershowzen got away with it for 2 seasons. Loved that show!

of course it's racist. It's ostentatiously racist, and that's what makes it funny. The add is intentionally or unintentionally made so stupidly racist that triggers the instinct of laughing. If the add would have been just regular racist, then it would have been just a racist add, but like this it turns into making fun of racists. I suspect that it was done intentionally extremely racist as a form of protest towards racism through malicious compliance. The producers were probably asked to "just create some stupid diversity ad to divert the attention out of our asses for never hiring blacks". Then the producers did exactly that.
