Man, Andrew Tacket is amazing. He is the guy consistently putting out matches you are ACTUALLY proud to show your friends when they ask what jiu jitsu is 😂. Probably my favorite competitor at the moment love his matches they are always amazing to watch.

One of my favorite grapplers now. I love his style, aggressive attacks, hunting the back, relentless subs, and dynamic movement.

I tell my students Dont be mislead by the low percentage bullshit . This is what grappling is about The simple shit done on expert level.AndrewT embodies this in all his matches .OSS .💪

Yes he has mastered the basics, but what sets him apart is his dynamic and explosive game. He’s hitting flying triangles, diving back takes, tons of unorthodox movements and attacks. This isn’t like watching Roger Gracie pull guard, sweep to mount and choke. Much more dynamic and unpredictable, I wouldn’t classify his game as mastering the basics

This sport has to create the most docile individuals. You have to be ok with losing frequently. The only reason why people train in this martial art is to pick on and beat up people who don’t know how to fight because chances are, if you run into someone else who knows BJJ you’re in trouble.

You still get choked when it's that deep. Gumshields would help in preventing pain - but they would still go to sleep.

Ppl in the comments saying you are wrong but your not. Sure if the forarm is low enough when squeezing it can force your lower jaw down and submit/choke you anyway, but without a gumsheild you tap cus of your theeth and your lips are getting cleaved by your teeth.

Andrew's got a very manly style -- no butt scooting here. Fight for top position, smash guard, take the back and win by submission, all with excellent scrambling and a heavy pace. That's what jiujitsu's all about if you ask me.
