@JohnZuh it's not that out of context. The court systems outside the US are different. For example, Romania. They're investigating human trafficking charges, but if they find anything illegal, they can take him to trial just for that and not have to drop the original charges. That's one of those countries where anything illegal is game. They're not restricted by warrants like the US court system. That's why they were able to detain him just on allegations while investigating...

When you work for the BBC, you work for the state which is the UK government. If your employer is a government, that means that you report to whoever is sitting in power. You are biased and your judgment will always be clouded. These are not journalists. Journalists are supposed to be free from any force, coercion or biases. Journalists should be free from any influences and be as impartial as possible. Bottomline is, if you work for the BBC, you shouldn't call yourself a journalist. Call yourself an employee of the government.

I'm British and although they're state funded they're fairly independent and have had plenty of disagreements with the government in my lifetime. Until about a decade ago they were one of the most reliable media organisations in the world. However in the last 10 years they've deteriorated to the point that many of the British public (including myself) believes that they should be defunded. They've lost us after decades of reputability. It's sad to see really.
It is impossible to have 0 bias..... and you know what, I am not British citizen but I have more trust in the British government than this clown...
