May Allah give him what's best for him in both worlds. I was really impressed when I heard him talking about how hedonistic lifestyle leads you nowhere. It's a bottomless pit it really is and the real happiness and sense of fulfilness comes from giving and struggling either to please Allah or to do good for someone. And that can't make us arrogant in fact we should be even more humble. Our attitudes should be "ya Allah I thank you for giving me an opportunity to do this good thing". Having seen this interview, I can confirm what I once said, tate probably converted because the Christian lifeway is not how he wants to live and so he changes to whichever religion supports HIS lifestyle the most.
