Andrew 'Twiggy' Forrest talks about his life, experiences and business endeavours

I'm a big fan of Andrew Forrest and Fortescue. I've invested in Fortescue Metals Group. I look forward to the day it becomes Fortescue Industries Group as it diversifies and works towards ambitious innovative technologies and rewarding risk takers with dividends. I love the investing in green hydrogen that FMG is doing. Green hydrogen will have so much potential with: -Energy production when the sun isn't shining, or wind isn't blowing. -For large vehicles on the road such as trucks and buses where batteries are impractical. -In industry for applications such as steel production Hydrogen can also be used to produce green ammonia, which can be used in trains and ships as it has a bigger barrier between the general public and the fuel. As Andrew says in other interviews, he wants to see cleaner oceans and less plastic, I would love to see Fortescue also invest in reigniting the hemp industry and starting up the seaweed industry. Hemp can be used in construction, textiles, papers/cardboards, used in foods as a partial replacement to wheat and can be used in biofuels. It is being investigated as to whether hemp can be used for graphene production too. So, there is a lot of market potential there. The other major application is plastic, hemp can be used for bio plastics which has a much lower impact on the environment and the oceans. Seaweed can be used for foods, animal feedstock, some medical applications and also used in biofuels. If they can use hemp biofuel and seaweed biofuel for aviation, they could decarbonise that sector drastically. That would be a great export to the EU as they focus heavily on decarbonisation.

If success is cheap, every one wovld has been successful if the road to success was straight many would have been enjoying success long ago, but am sorry. Its not.! If your expecting your dreams to come cheaply. Then you need a change of mind. Success is not for people who give up easily it's not for lazy people who give excusess success come from people who are dedicated. Committed and ready to give their dreams and all it take to be fullflied. So I can ask again? What manner of person I you? Some who give up easily it's easily, or some ready to fight through the bad day to earn the days? Think about it.
