Most DJs spend their entire career focusing on one specific genre in the hope of one day playing a set as good as this. For Andrew Weatherall it's barely a footnote.

I told him what a great set it was, and he very kindly told me "Thanks Mate", and the best bit was, he said it with real appreciation and not just as a standard reply. Also saw him again in Dundee about 6/7 years ago doing the LoveFOSpace thing. That was flipping epic, absolutely perfect music from start to finish.

Dancing in front of the DJ booth for hours on end, many, many times. Sometimes felt like I was his personal cheerleader. Good times.

Amazing. And weirdly, totally on-point for trendy LA gym class vibes these days. Slightly different supplements back in the day.

Great, trippy, weirded out deep house mix. Between the Glenn underground mix of q-burns abstract message and Boo Williams he plays a beatless soundscape record and I'm positive it's one of the moody beats versions by Mood II Swing by Mysterious People-love revolution. It's not listed on the tracklist though but defo there.

Truly sad for the loss of this gentleman, one of the greatest human being in music history. His honest passion and his individual, original mind were always shining and immediately representing the idol he has been for many of us. It has been one of my greatest experiences enjoying his dj sets. But I also want to say that to me nearly anything from him is excellent, aside from his music, his personality, his inspiring attitude and his talks were beautiful to discover. I was really looking forward to see him again. That's such a pity. The world needs people like him.
