Great show. I always respected and appreciated Whitworth.
@jbutsch23018 ай бұрын
As a Cincinnatian, I couldn’t be more excited for this episode… although there will be pain involved, I’m so happy big Whit got himself a ring finally. After all his years here in Cincinnati being wasted, I’m genuinely happy for this man. He did everything right when he was here. And even though his ring came at the expense of my hometown team, we still got time with Burrow, whereas big Whit was retiring. Absolutely incredible person.
@MikeySkywalker8 ай бұрын
What he did might be crazier than what Brady did. Being a 42 year old offensive lineman is insane.
@bruins38908 ай бұрын
Definitely. But lineman get no recognition.
@miker98258 ай бұрын
He was 39 years old when he retired. Amazing career. Edit: Oh he was actually 40! And he played in the SB.
@MikeySkywalker8 ай бұрын
@@miker9825 He was actually 41. So, right in the middle of what I said and what you said. At least that’s what it says when I google it. Whether it was 39, 40, 41, or 42 it’s still an amazing accomplishment. Unprecedented. He’s the oldest offensive lineman to play in the league, and the oldest to win a SB.
@jamiemcdonald42798 ай бұрын
It's unbelievable really. Brady played until 45 as a QB. I put Whitworth right up there with Brady on longevity.

When I was a kid, I got to meet a Rams offensive lineman, Adam Timmerman, at a Rams game in St Louis. I remember shaking his hand and thinking “He could cover my entire head with one hand” He was super nice. He was in a hurry and he took time to stop and say hi anyway.
