Solid video homie! Peaks are interesting but I usually go TTS (but I also have wide/flat feet haha.) Have you considered double socking/trying a runner's knot? Might help out a little with the security with both of those combined.

Peak shoes are notorious for wack sizing, i’ve bought 5 different peak basketball shoes and i sized down 1 size for a performance fit

Correct, Peak shoes are typically quite long. I'm usually a size 11, but I got the AW1 in Size 10 and they fit perfectly.

What are good street balling shoes? I never ball indoors anymore and most of these flimsy 'performance' shoes are complete garbage outdoors on asphalt courts. They fall apart in a few weeks and some less when I ball 5-6 times a week. The most durable shoes I've ever worn were the Adidas Crazy Team 2017 - lasted over a year of heavy outdoor balling. Incredible outsole durability, don't know what rubber compound was used for those, but the upper fell apart before the outsole did. Amazing. If Adidas re-released those in full leather, they'd be the best street ball shoe ever. Is there anything out there currently for street balling remotely worth the value for money? Converse Weapons CX seem solid and decently priced, anyone tried those at all?
