I have listened to Andrew's teachings for a few years and I am much better in believing that I am already healed. However, doubt and fear tries to crepe in. What bothers me about this teaching is its lack of balance. For example, Jesus clearly taught in Luke 4:27 that healing is under God's sovereign hand. Many lepers (sick) but only one healed. What about Timothy and his "often infirmities?" Did Paul tell him to say, "I'm already healed!" No. He told him to drink a little wine for his often infirmities (take medicine). What about Trophimus (2 Timothy 4:20. Did Paul tell him that he was already healed? No! He told everyone that Trophimus was sick! As Derek Prince has so often said (and I believe it adds balance to the healing issues), "Reality is not Finality!" In other words, I don't have to say, "I am already healed." I can say, "I am sick, but this is not the last chapter." You are placing unnecessary guilt on good people. Please.

@@doncrooks4544 It bothers you because you've been taught wrong. Jesus, when speaking about the prophets and lepers and widows, was not establishing the doctrine of healing. The bible does that in Isaiah 53, and 1 Peter 2.24 24 it says "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed" as well as in many other passages where it talks about promises. Matthew 18.19 says, "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about ANYTHING THEY ASK, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven" and John 14.12-14 "12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask me[ anything in my name, I will do it.". These passages match and coincide with the whole message of healing and promises in the bible. Whoever taught you about God's healing sovereignty based on the scripture you cited doesn't know what he is talking about. Believing we are healed is us receiving it because believe it. We receive according to our faith and, thus, what we believe. If we truly believe God doesn't always heal, He will not heal and you will die with your illness. Why? Cause you receive according to our belief. God will not heal anyone against their will. They may "claim" they want it but their beliefs say otherwise.

@@7x779 I suggest you reread my initial response to Don without your theological filters. Don is wrong when he says that Luke 4.27 established that healing is under God's sovereign hand, that scripture has NOTHING to do with that. He was addressing a situation at that time, He wasn't establishing the doctrine of healing. Again, his systematic theology dictates his interpretation of the Word of God. Timothy's infirmities do not speak to God's will when it comes to healing. The New Testament scriptures were not written yet during Paul's ministry. We have the blessing and benefit to have the WHOLE of scripture available to us, unlike them. It's absurd that this needs to be pointed out to you and all those other religious calvinists and "reformers" that ignorantly teach that God "no longer heals" or heals "whenever He wants to". this blasphemous teaching is willful ignorance of the rest of His teachings. 2 Timothy 4.20 describes a situation with Trophimus, it doesn't prescribe it. Donny is probably repeating silly concepts that were taught to him by an unbelieving pastor or teacher, unbelieving in the healing ministry of Jesus and promises He made. So @7x77, learnt to interpret the scripture against the WHOLE of scripture and not just predetermine it based on religious teachings of unbelief in a "spiritual" manner. LOL...such stupidity is what weakens the body of Christ.

I love this guy. Rarely does a pastor make me laugh like this. A wonderful advocate for Christianity, without the "desperation" seen in many churches, the "oh God, please do something " approach. Andrew is the best example of how to have faith. Faith that is not "hopeful"....hoping God will work, but the faith of "knowing". I"m trying to find the best language to use here and "knowing" seems the most fitting. You know, in your heart, all blessings are on you. This is not an easy thing to do in our contemporary world, which, like doubting Thomas, needs to see before it believes.

This stuff Andrew is talking about WILL work folks. I have personal experience of it working many, many times. Unfortunately, I got lazy and “allowed” the stinkin devil to steal my healing. Now I have a fight on my hands to get back to where I used to be. But fortunately, I have the memory of the experience of it working in my life with two supernatural healings, and many other lesser issues being healed. But you have to have the attitude Andrew is talking about. You’ve gotta hate sickness and pain as much as you would an enemy breaking in to your house to harm your family.
