Medicare is 4 trillion per year and free college is like another few hundred billion. All of that including other departments would be around 10 trillion a year and with 3 trillion of taxes per year is not affordable. I like Medicare for all and tuition for all but you have to choose one, because all of them at once isn’t affordable.

I think it has a lot more to do with the fact that most people are too polarized to either the far right or the far left to ever vote for someone as reasonable as Yang. I agree, but he also looks very weathered. His face looks a little harsher, his hair looks more grey than it should have gotten in a year, and he looks like he did a lot of frowning in the year. Whats incredible about him is that this made him, the strain that he went through made him a better, more complete person that has learned to value what he has more. For example, Bernie is proposing a federal jobs guarantee, whereas Yang is proposing a $1000/month per adult until death plus a tailored VAT. Or Bernie is proposing a wealth tax whereas Yang is proposing, again, $1000/month per adult until death plus a tailored VAT. Search up Andrew Yang interview with Wall Street Journal in KZbin, and the last question in the ~30min video is when Yang makes clear why $1000/month + VAT is better.

However, I feel that Yangs health care plan was more judicious in that he didn't what to legislate all private insurance immediately while providing a public option. It is judicious because many people made compromises (like choosing lower pay rates) to obtain their healthcare plans, and taking them away would leave them compromised for no reason. Though, I do believe that people should get care if they need it without devastating cost to the patient, so Yangs public option that would be available to cover that too. What do you think?

The dems that I have met would have chosen Bernie or yang over Biden but neither could have won if trump played the ‘socialist card’ because of Bernie and yang supporting socialized healthcare (Medicare for all) and yang also supporting the universal basic income. Andrew you inspire me. As a western Asian immigrant in the UK, my first real business just failed and I am starting working for other person's startup soon. However, my passion always has been to change my country and the region it is in for better. Before I discovered you I wrote short policies plan on how I think I wud build my country, and when I discovered your plan it was super similar except 1 thing, UBI Now I have added that to my plan as well. My friends r tired of hearing about you lol, and realistically I wud not be able to run for my country(virtually impossible). Unless he runs again, I’ll be stuck wondering what could have been... too many people relying solely on mainstream media for their spoon-fed news, otherwise he would’ve stood a better chance. Such a genuine and well-composed guy, a “happy medium” type of candidate or the closest to being one. He’s ahead of his time and chooses to be because he understands exponential societal change and thinks of ways to stay ahead of the curve. he really was a genuine man. if you look into his history a bit more it turns out he isnt some large tech company founder with tens of millions to his name. he backed out of creating a successful startup and founded a non profit. his net worth is only about 800,000 to 1.2 million; considering he was running against multi millionaires, he really did seem like a genuine humanitarian

I didn't think he'd win, but his campaign gave me hope that one day we'll choose a president again who is smart, eloquent, empathetic, and will one day unify the country. I told my family and friends about Yang. My family just said oh im looking for a real democrat, but then by the time they listened to what he had to say he was already losing the battle. Then dont even get me started on my friends, I dont even have a single white friend and im white. But all my friends in there 18-20+ just kind of who'd Yang, with most my friends if not all of them literally saying if he isnt legalizing weed I wont vote for him.
