People were tired of career politicians and were hoping for change with Trump. Unfortunately Trump was all lies and brought hatred. With Yang you already see change. The other candidates are already trying to implement his ideas in their own policies. Also, Andrew is bringing people from different backgrounds racially, economically, etc. Come on people. With him as President, as a role model, he will bring humanity back. Did you not notice how everyone seemed to hate more when Trump got in office? Andrew advocates volunteering, helping others. That is a person I can tell my kids to look up to.

I agree to some degree but I think it also hurts his campaign from the less exposure and “validation.” An average person following the election will probably close their options in on the people who are making the debate stage since they would be viewed as the top contenders and as candidates more likely to win. Someone not attached to a specific candidate’s campaign will probably be less likely to view Yang as someone who could win since the main media coverage doesn’t show him as someone who could.

he is doing UBI on top of all existing federal programs?
@Hboogie1825 жыл бұрын
@@kevkus yes, but the kicker is that UBI will lessen bureaucratic administrative work since more people will be signing up for freedom dividend instead of gov't assistant programs. You can't have both. So in the end it'll save the government more money. In a way it essentially automate away alot of government admin work but at least everyone will have $1000/month.
@gosiak32675 жыл бұрын
You actually get to choose whether you want the 1k or your existing program if perhaps it covers you for more than 1k. You can opt out. Goal is to eliminate the need for the other federal programs but he has said that that's only if it makes sense for the individual. He's putting options, decisions and choices in people's hands where they belong.

Imagine a world where being a nerd is actually cool. Well, Mr. Yang is really nerdy, and I must say he is a cool man. Thank you, Andrew Yang, for being who you are and being so genuine. I can just feel it with every word you speak and every action you take. From the selfies you take with everyone to crying on stage while putting yourself in the shoes of a woman who lost a child to gun violence, you, sir, have given so many people hope. Something we haven't had much of for a long time. I've never donated to any political campaign, and I've never thought I'd ever be excited about a presidential candidate (well I was pretty excited for Obama in 08, but I was a 20 year old who didn't much about anything lol) but I've invested a lot of my time to getting to know your policies. And I donated to a campaign for the first time! I was so bummed that you weren't on the debate stage and it's quite clear that the DNC is trying to keep you out, but somehow you were still trending and a lot of people are saying you won the debate without even being there... incredible. Yang Gang, you all know what needs to be done. They are saying that our future president is not popular in the polls.. well I say that our poll conducting method is SUPER outdated and the majority of people voting for Yang might not even have a landline (I am 32 years old and I certainly don't.. neither do any of my friends who are my age) and us younger generation voters will make this election a huge surprise for the world to see. The high levels of internet traffic really tells me great things are bound to happen.. BUT.. we must all make the effort to vote. I see the enthusiasm and the positive energy that is exerted by the #yanggang so I feel confident that WE will get this done. Let's GO! #YangGang #YangIsHope #MATH #Yang2020 #YangMadeNerdsCool
@TruthHurts18715 жыл бұрын
All what you said is true & I agree & thank you for writing it. I just have to add that, the poll results & the polling questions were rigged. Those polling questions are extremely biased, leading & excluded Yang from many choices or options. The corruption is at all time high and they are still trying to make an apparent of a democracy hoping people never notice their subtle meddling techniques.
@yisanghoon5 жыл бұрын
@@TruthHurts1871 you are very right. And this is why all of us #YangGang need to get off our asses and go vote. Internet traffic is great but we need to make sure it translates to votes. Yang flows between Trillions, Billions, Millions and back to Trillions. His math logic is crazy AF. The thing bernie bros don't seem to realize is this: Bernie's values and message are fairly spot on (i would argue with some of his methods but meh could be far worse) - but his policy just amounts to playing the game that people have been playing forever. It won't change enough about incentives and power structures to enact meaningful long term change - particularly entering the period of technological development we are. It will give a good short term boost, but it will be prone to falling down to entropy instead of building up. And my goodness a jobs guarantee for survival sounds like a nightmare. As if we don't have enough pointless government busywork jobs already, and the right to work 8 hours for the government. Opposed to being given more freedom to do whatever the fuck you want. Yang isn't trying to play a broken game, he is rewriting the rules to work for everyone - at the expense of no one. You can't escape the influence these kinds of social structures frameworks have on human behavior when applied to billions of humans. As advanced as we are, we follow patterns of survival just like any other form of life. Arguably ours are outdated. Brains don't change much in 1,000 years - science/technology certainly did. We need to start using those advancements to structure society - we have the data.
@gregwilde11195 жыл бұрын
No question. Sanders is just playing ball under the current dysfunctional political system. In an ideal long term situation Sanders would get 4 years to rattle the cage and knock down some doors and Yang gets the next 8. It could set up a 20 year run.
@kiriInvestigator45975 жыл бұрын
Agreed on most of your points particularly involving Bernie. However i disagree that our current form of government and economic system is the result of our evolution. No it's not, its the results of the cunning ingenuity of the ruling class to maintain control over the masses.
@gregwilde11195 жыл бұрын
@@kiriInvestigator4597 Yeah there is no evolution involved. The current system is by design and all the politicians are now active participants. It's gotten to a point where the propaganda fed to us has resulted in a reality where the utterance of a single word, beleif or phrase can shut down all discourse.
