I have to admit I'm confused how none of Andrew's dogs ever seem to get injured. I've had a lot of dogs in my lifetime and even the smartest didn't seem to have anywhere near the situational awareness Levi had and Cody has. Add to that that despite their situational awareness they remain bold and fearless enough to constantly be in and all around the thick of whatever Andrew is doing and it both fascinates and terrifies me. I hope Cody never gets hurt. He certainly seems to know exactly when to get the hell out if the way. But man is that dog always right on top of everything that's going on.

I think it's because they're exposed to it right from the start. I apparently have a smart breed of dog (german shepherd). I can guarantee she'd be run over immediately. She's just not that smart haha. She'll get confused when I'm walking her and cut me off and trip me 3 or 4 times.

@jake broesky I don't think 🤔 it's giving credit. I think it's privacy. Some people may not want to be named and glorified. The guy that went over and helped him with the 988 and ran it. He has his own channel and he states in his video that he contacted Andrew and asked if he could drive 5 hours to meet and help Andrew. Not the other way around. I think he is doing a great job and he is keeping people's identity private when they may not want to be named. Got to give the benefit of the doubt here

I operated a 1989 or 1990 Cat 966E for 2 years 10 hrs a day, for an excavation/construction company digging basements, hauling off/in with a 1988 Pete rock dump. They used the rock dump as it was lower to load with the 966. Most of the soils around were mainly sandy/gravely with clays down 10 15 feet, some caliche. It beat me up! I cannot begin to imagine digging in schist and shale! Great Vid!

That looks like so much fun. Moving rocks? BOULDERS! I liked how that big one literally split in two on the first tumble. I've never driven one but I think I would love to do that one day for a full day for fun. The thing is, when Andrews done and you see it again in a few weeks, it always looks like that was the way it always looked naturally. That is going to look so clean and neat and make for a nice driveway and parking area. We should gofundme for him to start a huge building to keep all his big rigs in there!

I've been using a wheeled Mahindra tractor to move earth and let me tell you, I really gained an appreciation for the traction, torque, and stability you get with a tracked platform. That Mahindra tips over, I've had to put on the PTO box blade with concrete bags on top of it just to keep it from going endo.

I whole heartily agree with the fact the videos are very well done. What I wonder about, is the material removal of the hillside and the possibility of later washouts or landslides. But I was impressed with the equipment variety used! Good stuff.

Then you bring in other elements of what is going on and just when you think it can't get any better, you start to show a bigger picture. Now we have seen the cake - the music is the frosting. I feel silly now. A few videos ago, I commented about how that hill didn't look stable, and if Andrew kept digging away at it, those big rocks on top were likely to fall. I didn't realize that that was the goal. Mission accomplished. I think the new slope will be a welcome improvement.
