僕にとって 子供の頃から聞いてる大切な曲です。愛する人に捧ぐ 歌詞 に感情移入してしまいます。 彼の事は山下達郎のラジオ番組で知りました。never let her slip away だったかな? 子供だった僕は1聴してすぐ好きになりました。 思春期には好きな娘を思い浮かべながら歌ってました。 もう、彼はいないけど 彼が残してくれたいかした音楽は今も僕にとって大切なものです。ふ

When my wife and I got married 34 years ago there was no contest as to what would be our song for our first dance. Ultimate love song. A wonderful song and a magnificent song writer and musician. Gone way too soon, but his music lives on.

Genius.Songs just aren't constructed that way anymore. This man and his music brought me back from the depths of severe psychiatric illness years ago,cry my eyes out every time I listen to him, especially this track.Andrew, thank you I will always be eternally grateful for your beautiful healing music x

you know that music is a great form of release and can feel so many emotions all in one song and music is therapy for some us ...time heals ! Music heals and repairs the soul of many

@@rebeccahooper7968 So right, Rebecca. For so many of us after we have lost a loved one, we're keeping it pretty much together, but then a song in church or randomly on the radio, opens the floodgates. Artists deserve their private lives and we should always keep our respectful distance, but their voices are near in our most private moments of joy and despair. Although we might not "know them" we often times feel an intense connection to them and a desire to express our gratitude to them. Music therapy is a bonafide discipline and these songs like Mr. Gold's are tools for their trade.

All This And Heaven, Too is such a wonderful and beautiful album. I've been passing it on to everyone I've pretty much known since it came out in the late 1970's. In my very humble opinion Andrew Gold never got the notoriety and fame he should have. He should have been up there with Dan Fogelberg and the like. He was an absolutely fabulous singer/songwriter/performer. His music gave me many, many wonderful hours in my life. May he rest in peace.

This song could have been all 11 tracks on All This and Heaven Too and I would have bought it. Unbelievable. This song crushes me instantly every time I hear it.

@ldolphin34 ---and what is it in this song that crushes you instantly every time you hear it? What particular lines? Tell me. Then i would suggest better avoid listening to it. Or what about me singing this song in the tune of chacha or rumba hehehe, you think the feeling "crush" turned into "infatuation" to "love"? Whoaaaa What a beautiful morning and feeling i have today! Wanna share the feeling with you, take it! So stop being senti and cheerup, my rs. That's better :-)
