The microcosm has a massive problem that no one talks about. After you get one, you will be disappointed with all of the gear you buy after it because nothing is as awesome as it is. I got a Nightsky after the Microcosm. i was like, "that's it?". It is the best guitar pedal I've ever bought. I took a chance when they made the original batch, and I've never regretted it, even for a moment!
@station2station5442 жыл бұрын
...the bigger problem is that everyone uses them and it's so far past tired at this point. A user buys one and suddenly thinks they can ask for patreon followers. Andrew said it right in the video. "You can play any random sound and suddenly you have an ambient album"
@samecoff27882 жыл бұрын
@@station2station544 They are indeed ubiquitous, but one could say the same for guitars, pianos, or drums. I feel so blessed to live in an age where there are so many wonderful tools to make music. I try hard to find new and artistic ways to use those tools to make my music better, more useful, and more interesting. There will always be a few people who try to use a new device to cash in without putting forth much effort, but there's very little I can do about that. I just try my hardest to make the best music I can with the tools I have at my disposal.

Honestly, with the time crystals in play, it _could_ actually happen lol Andrew could find a bunch of crystals on the planet and give them to his music friends once he's back on Earth. After using the crystals, getting space tech from the future but getting stuck in the past (our present), his friends travel to this planet to gather more crystals to get back to their present (our future), bumping into Andrew along the way. Maybe there's even a Future Andrew with them. Wild, probably won't happen, heh, but plausible.
