Lisa going from being the Maknae (youngest) to being an Unnie (big sister) is so surprising to me. I have been binge watching the early BlackPink videos on KZbin and I have seen the change in her personality. The young Lisa is very playful, disruptive, and constantly demanding Jisoo's attention. Now the Unnie LIsa is a mentor and she listen's to the rookies, giving helpful advice while motivating them along the way. Its been 7 years and its amazing to see this growth and maturation in Lisa.

Seeing Chiquita fangirling over Lisa is the cutest thing ever. I can almost see inside Lisa’s head. She was just like Chiquita at her age and likely sees her younger self. Since Chiquita had spent just a short period of joining the group and practicing at YG before this VDO recorded, there are not much story to be presented. Think about how much effort she has to do practicing , evaluating, and do learning Korean for communication simultaneously, too. Having Lisa meeting the girls was precious, and we all can feel their genuine warm and happy moment between the three of them there as well. Chiquita will definitely shine for sure, soon.

Helping with pronounciations again. As westerners we pronounce it Chick-ee-tah. How they all have been pronouncing it is Chick-it-ah (with it-ah said as one word). Pharita is typically pronounced as Fah-ree-tah by westerners but they pronounce it with the H is kind of silent but not quite and more correct for us would be Pah-ree-tah (but kind of make a slight H sound after the P). As western English speakers we spell with phonetics with the problem being our 26 letter alphabet and different letters sometimes combining to form the same sounds as other letters like Ph shounding like F. An example of Korean having a different alphabet is they do not have a seperate letter for G and K so their sound for G or K is saying both at the same time as in what we would pronounce as Gomsumhamnida (Respectful way of saying Thank You to an elder or teacher). We pronounce it as a G but properly is to pronounce it like you are saying both G and K at the same time because their letter does not make a different G & K sound. Kind of same with R and L which is why when Jisoo steps on Lisa on stage and does not appologize she says "life" and we hear it as "Sarm" but actual translated is Salm because L & R is sort of like G & K where they are pronouncing the letter like saying R and L at the same time. It is similar with most Asian languages wheich is why many have a hard time with our pronounciation of "rice" and it sounds to us like they say 'Lice" but it is actually they are pronouncing it as what we would call a rolling R that we hear in Spanish words all of the time, but they only roll it once and it sounds like a L to us. Also if you are paying attention to Lisa's hair, This was approximately 6-8 weeks after her mentoring of them dancing so for sure Pharita and Chiquita made the supposed "cut". Jennie had her Orange hair in late June which was D7 of group sing and Lisa was there 1 month later on D10 of dance performance. It is hard to tell with Lisa sometimes as she does wear alot of wigs, but in the dance evaluation it was obvious she was not wearing a wig. Lisa's hair is very fine and light so any time her hair looks full and/or thick it is either a wig or extensions so she is obviously wearing a wig here. Also, in the dance mentoring she did not know any of their names and here she is just learning their names and I cannot see management setting this lunch up without knowing that both of these girls made the cut.
