I’m on my first pouch of Solbio. Preped the cassette as per instructions. I find it breaks down no 1 and no 2’s very well and after emptying the first rinse is a lot cleaner than anything else I have used. Initially the smell is fine but my wife thinks it starts to smell toiletty after a few hours. I’m going to try adding some drops of pine scented essential Oli’s to see how it goes

It's like Marmite you either love it or hate it, it smells worse when the weather is really hot, unfortunately it's not for me

Glad I could help - I had seen and heard good reports about the product so thought I would give it a go - Started to use double amount in the tank but still no better - NEVER AGAIN emptying the toilet cassette was the worst experience I've ever had - I'll stick to my One Chem in the future

Great to see an honest review of Solbio. So many other reviewer aren't. I watched one the other day about Dry Sparkle, the reviewer was cleaning a spotlessly clean and massive MH. There was no way he could have cleaned it with the 250ml in the tin.

You can’t beat an honest review. To be honest we only ever use Elsan double pink and blue. Great advice Andrew.

Yep not seen a negative review on this product so thought I would give my own personal review, emptying cassette was the worst experience I've ever had, keep to what you know and are happy with, Solbio - never again for me, thanks for watching 👍

Thanks for your video Andrew, we have only been caravanning since July this year and we really enjoyed it, got one more trip and then that will be it for this year, we have only used the blue and pink toilet products and find them ok, thanks again Andrew,👍👍.

I know quite a few sites are now requesting greener environmentally friendly toilet chemicals - we have been on a few, so thought for our Scotland trip we would try this out as recommended on a few KZbin channels - NEVER AGAIN emptying the toilet casette was the worst experience I've ever had, Thanks for watching

Thanks for the honest opinion on Solbio. I saw them pushing it at the NEC and I reckon if they're doing a hard sell it won't be up to much. ATM I'm just sticking with the Thetford stuff. I love the Lavender "blue". I've used Aqua Kem for years and never had any nasty niffs. I did try 40 shot, but found the bottles leaked (of course I might have been unlucky)

I'm a first time user of Solbio and after 4 cassettes worth, I wasn't happy so started to Google to see if I was alone or doing something wrong. Seems not. I have the same experience as you. We are No.1's ones only, so thought we shouldn't have much of a smell. While is very nice for the first few wee's, a few hours later and you start to notice a pong when you use the loo. After 24 hours the smell is very strong when using the loo, and invades the motorhome. We are currently refreshing the loo daily as opposed to every other day with other chemicals. I like the idea, the initial smell, but its not good enough as directed - I'll try double dose but will use something else next time.

Yes it's ok at first but certainly stinks after a few hours, at least I was honest in my review unlike other KZbinrs who got it for nothing 😄👍

Enjoyed the video Andrew and we watched it all ! Nothing worst than toilet odours 💩 . I’ve always used Thetford but I think they’ve reduced their fragrance levels. As you probably know I’ve got the Thetford toilet ventilator kit fitted and 100% wouldn’t be without it. Gail says the beard suits you 😁. All the best, Rob & Gail

LOL 🤣 Thanks for your review. I've just watched a lady saying how amazing this product was, so much so, I sent the link to my hubby. I hate the blue chemical smells in the caravan (& thought the SOLBIO would solve the problem, obviously not), but N0.1's & N0.2's smell a lot worse... So its back to the blue stuff then 😂!! We love CL's where no loo is available except ones own!

Hope you find it a better product than I did, it's OK when the toilet is first used, then the smell worsens, did not even breakdown cheap toilet paper (I always shake cassette before emptying) emptying the toilet cassette was the worst Experience I've ever had 🤢

Totally agree with all your views on Solbio, just couldn’t get on wi’it, especially in 30 odd degrees. In the end, when we got back from Europe, I had to strip down the toilet cassette and deep clean it. 9:05

We bought Solbio for our European trip thinking it would save space and be more eco friendly. BIG mistake ! We agree with you, the warm September sunshine only increased the problem with the smell and emptying the black tank was the worst experience I have ever had in all my years of caravanning. We will not be buying any more of it and have returned to Elsan Green. 😊

If your buying awning protectors, I can recommend Maypole. I made the mistake of buying a cheaper version from eBay first. They were almost impossible to thread into the awning channels. Hope this helps

I have not used Solbio, I think the price put me off. But I’m very happy with the 40 shot products. I especially like the dish and treat because it stops the grey tank smelling nasty.

I have had nothing but joy with this product so am a little surprised by some of the comments, i did use it in a brand new system so i'm wondering if thats the difference, maybe older systems or systems used with chemicals are impossible to rinse through so mess up the Solbio and its not able to do its thing, thats the only difference i can think of.

I've been using fabulosa for 4 years. 2 caps in top 2 caps in toilet had no problems, smells nice,cleans pipes and is cheap from aldi. Thank me later. Stop buying expensive pink blue green etc.
